We held our wedding reception at The Depot. We came in from 3000 miles away and family and friends came in from several states to join us. The reception and room block were arranged by e-mail and a couple of phone calls. Since I was planning it from so far away, I tried to adjust my expectations that things might... More

We stayed here for two nights for the Twin Cities Marathon and enjoyed it very much. We arrived exhausted and cranky after a 3-day drive from California. The staff was so welcoming, friendly and helpful that we were feeling back to our usual selves within minutes of our arrival. The check-in process was unbelievably fast, and our room was peaceful... I awoke at 2 a,m, ITCHING. I got out of bed and saw that I had a terrible, red, "welty" rash on my thighs and stomache. I switched rooms (they were nice about that) but then the NEXT room I stayed in had stains on the sheets, a few of which were obviously blood. The next morning the front desk... More

As the hotel manager, I was very disappointed to hear of the problems encountered by this guest. Luckily, I was able to meet with her in person the following day and address them. Our hotel adheres to very high cleanliness standards and we always try to address concerns quickly. More

I stayed here in early Summer 2010 to visit some friends in the cities. I actually walked in off the street with no reservation and they were able to accommodate me immediately! I walked in around Noonsih, and they had a room cleaned & ready for me minutes after. The room was great, had a full kitchen= Refrigerator, oven, kitchen... More

I am a very picky traveler. If you see my reviews you will see that I expect the places I stay to be very clean and to receive good service at all times. This hotel delivered. The staff was excellent. We had a package delivered there and they hand carried it to our room versus just handing it over to... More

I have been in customer service for years and am very forgiving of many mishaps that happen in hotels, restaurants, stores, etc... But two days ago I tried to simply get one drink from the bar and was ignored by not one waiter, but two and either the general manager or manager on duty. Then a couple came to the... More

Very charming hotel. Great location and great food. Easy access to light rails and easy walk for 4th of July fireworks and crossing the river to some great restaurants. Fun pool area.

Stayed May 14-16, 2010. Made reservations via Priceline @ $60/night. Requested two queen beds via phone and received them. Upon check-in, I heard the staff turn two couples away which made me feel pretty darn smug about our killer weekend rate (rooms generally start at around $125/night.) Parking is $15 but it is really an excellent location, no need to... More

As a valentines present to my girlfriend and her daughter, I booked a night at the Renaissance Hotel on 02/13/2010. The price was $150 including tax. It was a little more than I could afford but it was valentines day. Much to my surprise, is was $30 extra to use the pool and $15 for parking. So, the total bill... More

I cannot say enough good things about the personnel at the Depot. The service was excellent and not just with a few employees. Every person we encountered was positive and friendly. Our flight arrived at 8am on a Sunday morning. I called the hotel to determine which metro stop to take for the short walk to the hotel. Tracie answered... More
