I stayed at the Depot as part of a business trip. The location is near the Mississippi River and not right in downtown like the Marriott or Hyatt. The ground floor, as I was told by an employee, is supposed to replicate the feeling one would have had in the top level of a double-decker rail car, with fake windows... more

I have stayed here many times on business. This is a nice hotel for business - built at the site of the old train depot. It is not fancy, but it is comfortable, the food (room service and the bar/restaurant) is fine. The staff has always been great - very helpful. It is more near offices, government buildings and some... more

I was a business traveler at this hotel when a teenage cheerleader convention hit. As soon as I heard the giggling and saw the foot traffic on my hallway upon arrival, I turned back around to the front desk and asked for a new room. They upgraded me to the club level (comp) immediately. Nice room, much quieter. My only... more

We spent New Years Eve here with our daughter and some other friends. They offered a very nice pacckage New Years Eve for the kids. The ice rink is a must see, it is an actual old train depot. The hotel is beautiful with history at every corner. The beds were actually real comfortable and clean. The hotel was very... more

My husband and I stayed here on our anniversary the weekend after Thanksgiving. It was a King Room with an in-room whirlpool. The bed was very comfortable with nice sheets. The in room whirlpool is big enough for 2 but a little noisy if you wanted to watch TV. The only drawback was that the room was on the first... more

I stayed here two nights on business. I thought the public areas and guest rooms were well appointed, my room was a nice size and staff were courteous. Nice hotel bar and the food was pretty good. Location was terrific. My one complaint involved check-in. I reserved a room with a King Bed about six weeks before my stay; I... more

Stayed here 2 nights at the beginning of October for a wedding (held at the Mill Museum). The rooms aren't too big, but very modern and comfortable. And the bed especially was nice with soft sheets and a variety of pillows to choose from. I've traveled a lot , but this hotel by far was the most friendly hotel I've... more

We stayed here in June for a friend's wedding. The hotel was recently converted from a Courtyard to a Renaissance. We had a very plesant stay - our room was roomy, clean, and had an ultra-comfortable king size bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a small but clean and functioning gym and business center. A Dunn... more

My daughter and I stayed here during the USA Volleyball national championship. We were part of a large group that booked with the hotel directly. The Depot is a nice hotel with nice staff and a few nice amenities. The rooms are on the small side. Fortunately, the rooms are very clean with nice comfortable beds and recently updated bathrooms.... more

I haven't actually stayed overnight here yet. I meet some buddies sometimes for drinks in the lobby bar. It is a very nice, historic building. They are undergoing some major renovation right now to change from the budget brand Courtyard to the more upscale Renaissance brand. The Courtyard lable never seemed very appropriate for this property as it is so... more
