Location is a short block from convention center (no skyway so you have to walk outside) and about 3 blocks from the main street (Nicolett) that has most of the restaurants and other major hotels. What a fabulous place! Everyone was so helpful. I was attending a convention and found superior accomodations. I am recommending this hotel to anyone who is going to Minneapolis. A car is not needed because the Holiday Inn Express is conveniently located by Nicolett Mall. I intend to return to this hotel. more

I'm glad I choose this hotel. It is the closest one to the convention center. In the really cold weather you only have to walk one short block until you can enter the Skyway system -- but that is longer than walking down the street. Stayed at this hotel because of the location. The hotel is clean, quiet; the service is good. Had to pay parking, about $9.00 US per night. The rates are reasonable, but add parking, taxes, and tip, it becomes expensive. The rooms are spacious and clean. Internet was free, which was a plus. The Holiday Inn Express Downtown Minneapolis Convention Center is an excellent value. The hotel is clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the staff is a great source of knowledge for restaurants.
