This Hilton was yet another Hilton string of dissapointments. While the hotel is pretty and in a decent downtown location, I've just been forced to come to grips with the fact that Hiltons are poorly ran. Stayed at the Hilton for a cheerleading competition. This hotel was hopping busy due to the fact it was the host hotel. The Hilton did a good job even with such a large event going on. Stayed here 2 nights for the Vikes - Bears game. We checked in extremely late, (after 11pm), and check in was swift, room was fantastic (we're from the UK - we don't do rooms this size) on the 21st floor, with a great view over downtown. 9th floor room was small -- Manhattan small. Small TV took 10 seconds to change channels, and there was no channel guide. Wifi was not free -- and not cheap. If you want to get online, stay somewhere else. Room was clean, and the bed and linens were very comfortable. more
