Stayed here with friends for a concert in Mankato. The beauty of the property is that it is attached to the Verizon Center, so if you want location, location, location, this is where you go. Other than that...don't expect too much. Our checkin went smooth and the front desk staff were very nice. Over all , the pool area looked... More

We stayed here for the Mankato Marathon due to its proximity to the finish line and bus pick up to the starting line. The staff was great and there was no shortage of things to do (or eat) in the downtown area. The hotel facility itself was in need of a serious facelift though. Dim lit hallways, low ceilings, 80s... First ..if your planning on doing work during your stay, requiring WiFi, go somewhere else ...the signal is terrible. Our toilet didn't flush without holding down the handle..the heat didn't work..the breakfast was so-so and the hotel is old and not well signed. There was a topless bar right outside the hotel, although you didn't know it was there, it's... More

I actually am still at this hotel as I write this at the end of a three day stay. This is a former Holiday Inn. By definition, it would be a relatively normal, mediocre facility. From a facility standpoint, this is still true. Where it falls down further is in other areas. Housekeepers fail to adequately resupply amenities like shampoo... More

My husband and I stayed there one night for a wedding reception. The room was nice. It was modern. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. It had a fridge and microwave. Bathroom was adequate. The staff at the check-in/check-out desk were great! Very professional and efficient. One concern were cobwebs on the corner of the window sill. Another room... More

When we got to our room we found that there was no comforter on the bed, called front desk and they did eventually get us one. We decided to give the hotel restaurant a try, Ordered the "Rib Eye" special. Food came and steak looked bad, but thought I would give it a try. I was sick for two days.... More

Stayed here for a festival on the river. Perfect location--- near all eateries, bars , attractions. Fun set-up with pool in the middle. Breakfast was good- eggs, sausages, bagels. Little stuffy in the rooms- central air- not a well unit that you can control. So ask for a fan.

We stayed at this hotel the weekend of August 2, 2014. The hotel was filled with people there for Ribfest and Vikings training camp. When we got into our room it was not what I had reserved on the hotel site. I called the front desk to let them know I had been given the wrong room. They were insistent... More

Our first night, we were woken up by someone trying to get into our room. They were also booked for it. It was an awkward conversation between us when I answered the door. About 11:30 pm the front desk called us questioning our identity. At both 3am and again at 5am, the neighbors next door were very loud with their... More

The hotel itself was nice; however, our room was not cleaned when we left for the day. Used towels were left in the bathroom, new towels weren't replaced, one bed was left unmade, used disposable cups were not thrown out and replaced, and the shampoo and conditioner weren't replaced. The only thing we noticed was done was the garbage cans... More
