When we got to our room we found that there was no comforter on the bed, called front desk and they did eventually get us one. We decided to give the hotel restaurant a try, Ordered the "Rib Eye" special. Food came and steak looked bad, but thought I would give it a try. I was sick for two days.... More

Stayed here for a festival on the river. Perfect location--- near all eateries, bars , attractions. Fun set-up with pool in the middle. Breakfast was good- eggs, sausages, bagels. Little stuffy in the rooms- central air- not a well unit that you can control. So ask for a fan.

We stayed at this hotel the weekend of August 2, 2014. The hotel was filled with people there for Ribfest and Vikings training camp. When we got into our room it was not what I had reserved on the hotel site. I called the front desk to let them know I had been given the wrong room. They were insistent... More

Our first night, we were woken up by someone trying to get into our room. They were also booked for it. It was an awkward conversation between us when I answered the door. About 11:30 pm the front desk called us questioning our identity. At both 3am and again at 5am, the neighbors next door were very loud with their... More

The hotel itself was nice; however, our room was not cleaned when we left for the day. Used towels were left in the bathroom, new towels weren't replaced, one bed was left unmade, used disposable cups were not thrown out and replaced, and the shampoo and conditioner weren't replaced. The only thing we noticed was done was the garbage cans... More

We stayed there June 14th 2014 for one night. There was to much noise during the night. The curtains would not shut as there was no rail to shut them so our room was lit up like a football field. Whenever the people upstairs had a shower so did we with a leaky ceiling in the bathroom. Wi Fi did... More

Thank you Sara and TJ for accommodating me and my fiancé for the graduation weekend of my son. I am very appreciative. The hotel appears to be in transition with the updating of the rooms, some of the amenities need updating but the spirit of the hotel is alive and vibrant. Breakfast was very good. Close to Minnesota State for... More

I stay at a lot of hotels due to my travel with the airlines. However, I needed to find a place for my parents who needed to stay for six weeks due to medical treatment in Mankato. After searching we settled on the City Center Hotel. My parents were dreading a hotel stay - and especially for six weeks. THEY... More

If you value your sleep, STAY AWAY, this is not the place for you!!! The dirty little secret this place fails to mention is that over half their rooms have large sliding glass doors and overlook the pool area which is filled with screaming pre-pubescent kiddies until 11:00 p.m. When the pool area does finally close, the giggly screaming little... I stay at alot of hotels, alot. I'm at my 3rd one in 6 days. I'm used to more 4 star hotels so I suppose its not fair of me to compare it to a 4 or 5 star, so it won't. I understand this is an old hotel, and I have to say the rennovations they have made are... More
