Checked in hours early free of charge and was able to get a smoking room! Hotel is just starting to show its age but it was VERY clean and the staff was the MOST HELPFUL and professional group of people I have encountered at any hotel. The location was perfect, walked everywhere even though parking was free. The microwave in... more

This hotel is in desperate need of a remodel. The rooms and common areas were worn. I had a room that had a window to the hotel pool area and it was very loud for a few hours as a birthday party was going on. Luckily it was quite after the party ended. The fitness eqipment was adequate but the... more

Hotel did a nice job with check in and out with a large group of people coming in at once. Rooms were ready early, front desk handled special requests well, parking easy. Nice place to stay with great access to the Alltel center. more

This is an older hotel that has been somewhat remodeled. The carpet and furnishings were new but that was it. The hallways were very smelly. There is no continental breakfast at this hotel. The bathroom had no tub, just a very small, not very nice shower. I traveled on government business and they would not tax exempt my bill. There... more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn, Mankato in September 2007. We have stayed here before, but that was 19 years ago, on our wedding night! It is a nice hotel. It is clean and well run. My only real complaint is that there were not enough electrical outlets for todays traveler. The desk area had only one extra outlet, which... more

I selected this hotel based on other traveler reviews and was disappointed. It's an older Holiday Inn and is in need of an update. While there was nothing actually wrong with the hotel - and it wasn't dirty or smelly, the cardinal sins of hotels in my opinion - the carpets were worn and stained, the walls were banged up... more

I was looking for a comfortable, 2-day getaway from the "Cities" with a nice poolside room that would allow a kitty - this place was perfect! The pool area and whirlpool are very nice. The parking ramp was free and easily accessible from the hotel. Nice fitness center. I arrived early and the front desk person was very accommodating. Only... more

Nice pool/game room/workout room area...Sunday brunch was okay but definitely overpriced. We went on Mother's Day and it was very busy. We waited a long time and after the inital drink order we were never asked for drinks again. Kind of a disappointment as far as the restaurant, but the hotel was fine. Surrounding area has some fun places, Buffalo... more

Great pool/whirlpool area with a large size area around the pool for parties and groups to get together. Rooms are basic Holiday Inn with decent beds and hotel included good cable television along with free wireless. Checkin staff was quick and polite and checked for availablity of an extra room and came up with a room when they were probably... more
