The hotel is considered to be one of the nicer hotels available in the Mankato, Minnesota area. It is located a considerable distance from central and Old Town Mankato, but Old Town Mankato is rundown anyway. The hotel is located very close shopping like Target and Kohl's as well as restaurants like Taco Jack and TGI Friday's. The service at... more

I was in mankato to do some shopping and thought this place would be a good place to stay at because it was near the mall and it looked nice. Little did I know. The place was expensive at least much more expensive than the other hotels in mankato. I could have spent half the price and gotten as much... more

I appreciate automatic doors from the parking lot into the lobby, and this hotel has that, along with being attractive and well kept. The microwave and silent refrigerator (but why was it turned off and the door ajar?) in the room were great, and as a GoldPoints member I had extra treats of kettle corn, granola bars and water bottles... more

Me and my girlfriend stayed at Country Inn & Suites in Mankato for a little weekend relaxation. we decided to get the Jacuzzi Suite. I'm not sure I could regret choosing this Hotel anymore then I already do. The kid behind the desk, I say kid because he looked and acted about 14, he was very unsure of what he... more

My husband and I stayed here while visiting family in the area over Easter. Staff friendly, room clean and comfortable though I thought the rates were a little bit high. more

We were in Mankato for a funeral and booked our rooms at the last minute over the internet. I relied on TripAdvisor's hotel ratings to guide me (as I have on other trips in the past few years). Country Inn was at the top of the list. The reviews made it sound like it was a pleasant place. My wife... more

We visit family annually and stay at the Country Inn and Suites. It is by no means the cheapest stay in Mankato, but if you like a clean hotel, a hospitable staff and a good breakfast, this is the place for you. The breakfast bar has omelets, waffles, sausage, sausage gravy, assorted breads, etc etc. Except for perhaps too much... more

I can see why this hotel is rated the best in Mankato! Loved it! The hotel was so clean - housekeeping is fantastic! The beds were so comfortable and the room very large. The staff is one of the best I've ever met... and the pool/spa/exercise room clean and spacious! In fact, the cleanest pool area I've ever seen! The... more

I stayed here for two nights to attend a conference. Very friendly staff. The room was spotless and very large. Nice big free continental breakfast area with toaster, milk, juice, fruit etc. Good location within walking distance of restaurants, convenience stores and a shopping center. Great conference facilities. A Minnesota nice place. more

I had a choice of several moderately priced motels when I recently was in Mankato for five days. From my entrance at the front desk to my last morning there, the staff was hospitable and helpful. I actually chose this place because of the free morning breakfast buffet, and it was clean and nice, complete with the do-it-yourself waffle machine.... more
