Had a great time, went on boxing day to relax after Christmas. Service was great, staff are always friendly. Keys didn't work on the rooms so my husband and neighbour had to wake me at midnight to get in but otherwise it was great. In Canada you don't get to gamble, drink and smoke all at once so it's a... Wow, this place is a pieced together hotel/casino. First and last time we will be there. The main hotel is very far away the regular rooms. So get used to a long walk thru the skyways, convention center to get to the pool/casino/food areas. Pool was pretty good except the decking around the pools were filthy, in need of a... More

We stayed at the hotel in 2006. It fits the purpose. The Mustang Lounge is a good bar between casino and hotel for a beer and cocktails. A little gambling in between for fun! Visiting family once a year a trip to Shooting Star is a must!

The room beside us had a party going all night long. We didn't complain because each time they left to go gamble we assumed the party was over however it didn't take long for the party to come back and resume. At seven in the morning we were going down for breakfast and we stopped in at the front desk... More

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We hope that all of our guests have a peaceful and relaxing stay with us. With a call to the front desk, Security would have warned the guests next door. If it continued, they would be asked to leave. We apologized that you did not have a restful stay and... More

Spent this past Saturday night at the casino. Roosters were playing so we decided to hit up the Mustang Lounge and drink and listen. We sat there from 8:00 until 1:00. Had to go the bar and get our own drinks every time we wanted one. Terrible service and very slow. They missed out on lots of tip money we... More

Let me start off by saying that we have stayed here quite a few times in the last 4 years and with every visit it seems that staff gets more rude and the room prices keep going up. To begin with when my husband checked in the front desk lady was very rude and he was made to feel unwelcome.... More

I've stayed here on business before and the rooms were clean, I can't comment on hearing the phone ring next door but note there we more than one building on this property and obviously some rooms were built before others. I don't normally stay at the Hyatt for business travel, in-fact more often on the other end of the scale... More

We stayed in a standard room. Rooms were adequate (not spacious by any means), however you could hear conversation, television, running water and cell phones ringing in the rooms on either side of us. We got a special rate of $30 (rack rate $100), and I don't think the room was worth even that. That being said, the beds were... More

Shooting Star Casino has its moments. Although the casino itself is decent, Customer Service is absolutely horrific. I can honestly say from the minute you walk in the door it simply continues to get worse. The front desk reception at the hotel entrance will make you feel more unwelcome than welcome with the eye rolls and legs propped up on... More
