Walked in and felt like I was at the AmericInn I stayed in Stuart, IA. Knew it was going to work out for a few days while working in the area. Room was clean, AC and Heat worked, bed and pillows were comfortable. Pool was open, but I did not use it. I really liked being able use the Anytime... More

Madelia Hotel is a very pleasant and cute hotel. Traveling from NYC and having stopped in motels that were as expensive as Madelia, it was a nice surprise to arrive to such a cute place. My room had a whirlpool, which was another nice surprise! Only reason I don't give 5 starts is because the web advertised they are pet... More

Spent 2 nights in a King size bed, whirlpool suite. The room was huge and even though I was the single occupant, I appreciated all the space. The whirlpool was very nice. Room was clean and quiet. I do think the bed linens need an upgrade though as the blanket was super thin. Needed an ethernet cable from the front... More

Room did not have advertised amenities. Pool was closed. Hospital staffs' children were running amok through the hotel. If you like hotels that feel more like a daycare center, then this may be the place for you.

I stayed at the Madelia Hotel & Suites (the name has changed from AmericInn) for two nights. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The exercise room had a treadmill and bike-no tv in the room but the pool was perfect for an evening lap swim and the jacuzzi was ok. I would... More

When hotels in nearby New Ulm and Mankato were full, we decided to give the Madelia Hotel a try. It looked nice and they didn't have exhorbitant rates like the New Ulm hotels do during event weekends. We were very impressed by the quality, size, cleanliness, and cost (about $89) of the king suite. The indoor pool was also excellent... More

We stayed at the Madelia Hotel & Suites (the name has changed from AmericInn) for one night. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and greeted us each time we walked through the lobby. The hotel seemed to have only a few other travelers, so it was actually nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend... More

We were caught in a snow storm. Arrived in at 8pm and the desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was in great shape, no smoke smell. We had our dog with us and they were more than happy to accommodate. Breakfast area was clean and usable. This Americinn is 100 times better than the Americinn in Hutchinson, MN,... More

My wife and 5-yr old stayed at the AmericInn last weekend and it was very nice. It is a new hotel and everything was very clean and looked great. Our room was very comfortable. The television was large and worked well. It was very quiet. The hotel really stood out, however, because of the staff. All of the staff were... More
