We were changed last minute by hoseasons as we originally booked a lodge in Lake District but unfortunately there were a few problems and we were asked if we could move. They offered us this place and due to short notice I agreed. The park is lovely set in an ideal peaceful location, for those who want to escape it... More

We stayed here August 1st for 1 week, we stayed in Fox Lodge 20 (right opposite the park which was great as we have 2 young girls). On arrival the cabin looked great, nice touch with the tea, coffee and sugar. Although on closer inspection the cabins were not clean to a standard that I would expect paying £1350 for... More

We went for a 4 night midweek break and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We normally do Mexico (all inclusive) but have a 16 week old springer spaniel who wanted to come on holiday with us lol We stayed in badger plus 46 and was very pleased with it overall. The lodge was clean and spacious with all the facilities we needed.... More

We stayed here in a badger plus cabin on arrival we were given our bundle of remotes and our key once we had paid £10 deposit. Driving down to the cabin is like going thru a ghost town of a former caravan park about 30 abandoned overgrown pitches. The cabin itself was ok although there were cobwebs everywhere and the... Stayed here for my birthday in January for 3 nights, lodges are beautiful, perfect relaxing get away, loved the fact that there was no wifi or phone signal in the lodge - Although a small walk to the onsite shop would get you a signal. Jacuzzi was huge and even in January we used it loads, under shelter so even... More

We booked this as a quiet break away and wanted a log cabin with a spa as a treat. It was hard to locate the site but we eventually found it and its a quiet site in a rural location. It is very quiet and nice to be out of the way. The log cabin was nice it was well... More

This was our 5th time at quarry walk and we keep coming back, this time we stayed in the Woodpecker lodge which we have stayed in previously. This stay was partly for our first wedding anniversary celebrations. We arrived and was as always greeted by the owner (sorry I don't know her name and should do) she always recognises us... More

Great location although difficult to get to in bad weather, kitchen we'll equipped, clean and lovely size hot tub, however take fly spray as they can be a problem when in the hot tub, no wifi so don't bother paying for it, TV is small and not always viewable from the sofa, take a game console so you can watch...
