Great location -- loved listening to the waves crashing on the shore just outside the door, even in the winter. Stayed here while skiing at Lutsen, which is just minutes up the road. Just spent two days at the Cliff Dweller while my wife and I explored the North Shore. It was very clean and we had a super view from our balcony of Lake Superior. Better than average breakfast. We would stay there again. Only complaint was not very many TV channels to choose from. Need ESPN!!

Just spent three days exploring the north shore, with Cliff Dweller as our home base. It is very conveniently located, very clean and offers a large array of breakfast options. Our view of the lake was beautiful. Really good value for the price. Nice, friendly owners live on site. We'd stay there again!

This is a really nice place to stay. While most places in the area require a two night stay, this place allows for one night reservations and even with a dog!
