This was our second visit to Lanesboro and this time we chose to stay at the Historic Scanlan House. It proved to be an excellent choice. We stayed in the Masquerade Room. This room is on the second floor and had a small balcony that we were able to enjoy. The room and the whole house was furnished in period... More

We really had a great time at The Scanlon House. We stayed in the Masquerade Suite and enjoyed wine from the Scenic Valley Winery on the balcony. Mary and Kirstin were outstanding hosts, great storytellers, and great chefs. We look forward to staying there again. Several of the other couples there had stayed there many times and thought is was... More

We spent two nights in the Scanlan House as three couples. We were all on the second floor and added the cost of the three rooms and divided by three. The rooms were all very well decorated and clean. All rooms had whirlpool baths, which we didn't use and would have preferred showers. We think whirlpools in the rooms are... More

We just spent the weekend at the Scanlon House and can say we really enjoyed the getaway. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. The pantry is a nice touch where you can get any type of tea, coffee or hot chocolate any time of the day or night. Breakfast was amazing each morning. This B&B is really outdated and... More

My wife and I stayed in the Safari Suite for two nights. The Scanlan House staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we walked in. We were shown to the Safari Suite, which is the only guest room on the main floor of the house. The Safari Suite is a two-room suite. The main room has the bed,... More

We had a rainly afternoon and and the separate sitting area offred a great place to read, relax and watch TV. The Breakfasts are huge and very good and filling! The ony drawback for us was the lack... More

This was a great place to spend our anniversary! The food was great, the room was comfortable and well decorated. With a great hot tub, good view and perfect walking distance from anything you wanted to get to, this was the perfect relaxing get away for our anniversary.

Enjoyed our two night stay in this great b&b in the Victoria room. Quiet, spectacular breakfast and dessert, friendly owners and staff, great location to town. Plenty of room to relax inside and on the well kept grounds outside. A very nice getaway!!

We so wanted to love this B&B and that didn't happen. The owner Mary is a great hostess but there were too many misses here. The house is decorated in DARK Victorian with "stuff" everywhere, the breakfasts had great sweets-muffins and desserts but the entrees are only so-so with the tiniest sausage patties I have ever seen. The butler's pantry with... We stayed for the first time at this lovely B&B in the Masquerade Suite with a balcony on the turret. The room was beautifully decorated, complete with chocolates on our pillows, and a large jacuzzi tub. The breakfast was exceptional with fruit, a to-die-for egg dish, sausages and an apple dessert. Coffee/tea is available 24/7 along with additional, to purchase,... More
