We stayed at the group sites, F1 and F2. They are completely open to each other and share a fire pit and canopy covered picnic table area, so are really only good for one group at a time. The sites are riverside although have a tall grass barrier that kept the kids safe. There is a dense bush screen to... More

We stayed in the small motel at this campground. It is basic accomodations, but its clean and reasonable. We stayed for 3 nights in the middle of the week, so it was very quiet. Clean and quiet campground, attached to local bike trails. They also had a well run tubing package, that takes you up the river, drops you off,... More

Clean, well maintained! Grassy campsites, no mud. Love the sites along the river banks - they have a bit more privacy and a nice view. Pleasantly surprised to see they had kids tubes so the whole family could safely go tubing.

We have stayed here a couple of times, and we really liked the sites. The employees seemed fine, but we didn't really need anything special, and the only times we interacted, they were polite, and seemed to know what was going on. The only knock I think is a little strange is that they ask you to move your picnic... More

We have camping here for about the last 7 years. Love being around on Sunday evenings and week nights when the campground is practically deserted. Like every campground weekends and holidays can be very busy. Very clean, family orientated place right on the Root River, bike trail very accessible and both the town of Lanesboro and Whalen (think great pie)... More

The campground was very well maintained. They have many sites with sewer which was nice. The camp sites were much larger than we are used to. We found the staff to be very kind and helpful. We had mechanical problems with our truck and had to extend our stay by a week. The staff was helpful with contacting the next... More

my wife and I have camped at numerous places round the bike trail, this is by far the worst place, people who work there are very unfriendly. make sure u don't go over 10 mph in camp ground or that will scream (which I agree with safety but when u allow golf carts fly in and out of sites makes...
