There is no other B&B like it in or near Lanesboro - the serenity, beauty, food quality and the story of how the Inn came to be is why there is no other place that can compare. To start - the views out the window at 100 acres on the property are stunning, the private hiking trail and trout stream... More

We loved our stay at Sacred Clay Farm. So much, in fact, that we're bringing the whole clan back next summer for a family reunion. It's a stunning home on a breathtaking piece of property with hiking trails, formal gardens, hidden picnic spots, and a gurgling trout stream. As other reviewers have noted, the pictures simply don't do justice to... More

First off let me mention that I'm not normally a bed and breakfest fan, staying in someone elses home that reminds you of Grandma's is not all that romantic to me. we have had some wonderful stays in unique places that i would'nt really classify as "Run of the Mill" bed and breakfest. The Inn at Sacred Clay Farm falls... More

The pictures do not do justice for the beauty and quality of this remarkable getaway. This building was designed to be a Bed and Breakfast from it's origin, perfectly nestled on over 100 acres with breathtaking views of glacier carved ridges and bluffs with a well stocked trout stream and hiking trails. The sunsets are fantastic and the landscaping is... More

The house and grounds were meticulous and the breakfast was excellent. What was missing was the sense of warm hospitality we have experienced in b&b's across America.A sign at the door read,"Ring the bell. This is a private residence." The next sign read, "Remove your shoes." When we met the owner she was perfectly pleasant and happily gave everyone a... More

This was our second time staying at a B&B in Lanesboro, first time at Clay Farm. I can say with some certainty that staying at Sacred Clay Farm will become an annual retreat. Although we did not bring our kids, we may next time. This is the first B&B we've stayed at that had a room for kids - Narnia... More

Could only spend one night but what a wonderful place to get away. Amazing setting, awesome architecture, beautiful gardens, good food and friendly inn keepers. Highly recommended.

Fred and Sandy must have learned well from all their years staying at B&B's themselves because every detail here is perfect. The Inn is large, new, and as awe-inspiring as a church but with the cozy spots, warm welcome, and personal attention that make you feel at home. Sheets are hung outside to dry and it smells like you're sleeping... More

This B&B is everything it claims to be and more. This was a return visit for us. I can't say enough about the Inn at Sacred Clay and about its gracious owners. Fred and Sandy are friendly and helpful without overwhelming you. You always feel very welcomed but your privacy is respected as well. This inn gives off a calm... More
