Brian and Vivian are amazing and make this B&B feel like a home away from home. We had such a great experience that we can back there to get married! This was our first B&B experience back when we first met and we were both blown away. The breakfast food is fantastic! We emphatically recommend this to all of our... More

Brian rocks! We have been staying in bed & breakfasts for years but Brian is in a class by himself. The personality and commitment to excellence of our host made this 2-day stay truly memorable. The breakfasts were professionally done: delicious and beautiful. Our charming little room was immaculate. Brian wants his guests to enjoy the best that the area... More

Brian is the ultimate host! From the moment we entered we were treated like royalty. He is warm, informational and willing to help. The room was well decorated. The entire experience was exceptional, my husband and I left refreshed and ready again for the world. Vivian, the cocker, is quite cute! Breakfast was excellent. Brian takes the time to put... More

My fiance and I spent three nights at the Fillmore House over Memorial Day weekend, and it simply could not have been a nicer weekend for us. The home is beautiful and comfortable, the gardens are an inspiration, and the front porch was just perfect for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. We stayed in Genevieve's room,... More

We stayed two nights at the Fillmore House in Genevieve's room. Brian greeted us with champagne and strawberries as well as a short briefing of available activities in the area. Our room was Genevieve's room and is a large, comfortable room and boasts a very large bathroom with whirlpool tub/shower combo. The bed was comfortable and the Brian went out... More

How great iit is to be met with Champagne and Strawberries in the parlour? only to be topped by the graciousness of the hosts.....Brian not only represents the welcoming charm of the area, but provides you with history and things that are available to do each day. The breakfasts are worthy of a Southern Hospitality Chef as well. Hard to... More

We just had a wonderful brunch at the Fillmore House! The innkeepers Brian and Bob were warm and welcoming and we enjoyed an elegant brunch with the other guests. We had several courses and each was delicious with fabulous attention to detail and presentation. The menu had delightful twists, and though I'm more of a savory breakfast person myself the... More

Spent a night at the Fillmore House for Valentines day with my girlfriend. Cannot Stress how great an experience we had. We were warmly greeted by Brian who immediately provided us with champagne and stuffed strawberries. Brian was very knowledgeable about the history of the town and seems to be well connected with the community, quick to suggest fun things... More

Our stay in Lanesboro for its annual Rhubarb Festival was made better by the charm and hospitality of the Fillmore House B&B. In the morning, we tucked into Brian's sumptuous breakfasts, and in the evenings, tucked into one of his terrifically appointed rooms for the night. (Welcomed, always, by Vivian, the friendliest cocker spaniel in town). Brian is well-connected in... More
