Room 46 was superb. It is close to the beach and just what we could have asked for. The island offered value for money in terms of the accommodation, and snorkelling on offer (this is best around the jetty, the current taking you to the flag, some 300 metres to the west along the drop off). Grab some bread from... More

If you travel on a budget, This place is one of the best choice in Maldives. The island was very nice but small (about 20min to turn around the island). The rooms was very clean. Access to the reefs was easy. It's Superb to snorkel But there was some minus points: - There is no umbrella in the beach. people... More

We have just returned after a 10 day stay at Embudu. If you are going to the Maldives on a budget, then this is the place to go. We were greeted by a pod of dolphins who came round the boat transferring us to the island from the airport which was a superb start, The snorkelling is fabulous with a... More

On a budget? Then head to Embudu. Relaxing holiday with few drawbacks: Positives - Superb house reef. Easy to access the reef and there was a huge array of fish (don't forget your snorkel!!) - Wonderful staff. Staff were incredibly friendly and the cookery lesson was fantastic. As part of the lesson we were shown the kitchens which were immaculate... More

Extremely nice rooms, we were upgraded to a two tiered one, very big, all the usual 5 star amenities you expect. The island has one restaurant, but the food is top class, local dishes and curries were delicious, and the western dishes, that I try and eat less of when not in the west, were actually very, very good. Breakfast... More

Just returned from a fortnight in Embudu in November. It was hot and occasioning rained only for a few minutes. More often it rained at night. A great resort with a fabulous house reef. I would definitely recommend all inclusive as any extras were very expensive. Don't bother bringing shoes as we spent a fortnight never wearing any! The food... More

I'm not one for beach holidays but the Maldives is somewhere I've always wanted to visit and made a perfect second part of the holiday after staying in Dubai for four days. First thing to say is that while this is a three star hotel - it felt better than that. Arrived by boat in about 40 minutes from the... More

A late reply but just updating the last year in travels! Stayed here last October with my girlfriend. We booked a superior room and we can say we were not disappointed. The whole journey to the hotel was fantastic. Once we arrived we were quickly shown to the rooms and just walking around the island gave the feeling you were... More

Amazing experience, even better then my first time in the Maldives. Beautiful and quiet island, not far from Male - approximate 30 min with a boat. Transfer was quick and comfortable. We were greeted and the bags taken to our room which we requested to be on Sandbank - beautiful beach and the most amazing sunsets I witnessed. The room... More

We stayed at Embudu VIllage last September for two weeks in a water bungalow, this was truly magically. We was welcomed by lovely staff, our water bungalow was amazing we could see the fish and coral. The diving is the best, the food was lovely a good mixture and again we had no problems just tranquility for two weeks. The... More
