Nice clean cabin-ey feel to the rooms! All older rooms recently updated with newer bathrooms and furniture. The pet friendly rooms are all fresh and non-smoking. Recently stayed in room #8 and will try to book that one again, with basically a full galley kitchen, including stove and oven. Beautiful panoramic view of Lake Pepin. Chairs are out on the... More

My husband and I spent an anniversary weekend here. The room was like a cabin inside including a jacuzzi. Our balcony overlooked at Lake Pepin. I would recommend! We plan on returning. Staff was very friendly. Local restaurants are excellent!

We stayed in suite 3, which is the accessible suite. First the good. Bed was comfortable, nice view as long as no one parked in the handicapped spot, closet, cupboard and counters spacious, giant bathroom...I mean giant, even too large. Jacuzzi was nice, but I'm not sure how a person with disabilities would be able to get into and out if... More

First the good: Room was clean and comfortable. No tub, spacious walk in shower. Couch near the front window provided a good view of Lake Pepin even if weather was inclement. The "mini kitchen" is really a small fridge/ microwave and coffee maker with the adjacent closet used for plates/ cups/ flatware. Negatives: the only water for said kitchen was... More

I enjoyed my stay at the Alaskan Lodge. My room was of the basic (non-whirlpool suite) types and it was very comfortable. There is a small kitchenette, which I liked for making breakfast for myself in the morning and for storing in the refrigerator, some grocery items I had purchased on the road. The beds are comfortable and the bedroom... More

We went for a weekend stay in superior suite #3 (handicap room). Everything was clean and fresh, nice lodge style decor. Great view of the lake (I imagine the upstairs in the superior suites would be amazing). The hot tub was larger than others we've been in and very relaxing. Keurig coffee makers was a nice touch. The only reason... More

Stayed in suite #1 with a jacuzzi and fireplace with my wife. Arrived around 7pm and upon first appearance, everything looked good. But bathroom floor was completely filthy and disgusting. Went to tell staff, but office was closed. Then the REAL fun began. The owners live directly above the suites and the floors are paper thin. They were running around... More

We stayed in one of the superior suites and it was a great room from the furniture to the cleanliness to the view to the amenities provided. The staff we met in the office were great. However, with a little more attention to detail, they could have made themselves really stand out among the other hotels and made our stay... More
