The Nicolin Mansion is a beautiful bed and breakfast with great owner. My wife and I decided to take a biking long weekend to celebrate our 4th anniversary and we made the Nicolin one of our stops over the weekend. The rooms are all very beautiful. We stayed in the Nicolin room which had a very warm atmosphere to it.... More

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Nicolin Mansion. It was the prettiest B&B we have stayed at so far. The food was fabulous and Kevin was very attentive to the food I didn't like. The best part was the chocolate fondue we had ordered for our room which we enjoyed in the extra large jetted tub... More

We love history and the broadly varied decor of these older mansions, so it was lots of fun to look around. Nobody else was staying so we peeked into the other rooms and spent time checking out historical books in their library. After an amazing 3 course breakfast (amazing) we actually just ended up chatting with the owner for a... More

Our first B&B experience was over 25 years ago, and it became our preferred lodging mode whenever available. But FINALLY, we have found the very definition of the ultimate B&B experience, here in tiny Jordan, MN. We spent a week at Nicolin, in two of their best rooms (Chamberlain, Nicolin) (but we got to see all of the rooms, and... More

This was a quick relaxing getaway. I stayed in the Chamberlain Suite and it was stunning. The owners have worked hard to maintain the integrity of this 125 year old mansion. The hosts are wonderful and the three course breakfast was superb. I chose to have my breakfast served in my room which was delivered with a candle by their... More

My wife and I spent our wedding night here. Beautiful place, historical and well kept. We showed up at 10:30 PM (after normal check-in hours) but they gave us the front door code and had a rose pedal path to our room, with roses and champagne in the Nicolin Room. Everything went smoothly and the breakfast in the room was... More

I've been to a few B&Bs but I have to say, Nicolin Mansion is the crown jewel of them all. The mansion is lovingly restored with good taste, the innkeepers are warm, welcoming and deeply accomodating and I've never been so pleased with my stay. The whirlpool tubs easily fit two people and are satisfyingly comfortable. The beds are huge... More

Nicolin Mansion is in downtown Jordan, which is now off the main business thoroughfare, so the location was nice and quiet. Located right next door is a cute 1920s deco coffee shop which was also great. The decor of the home is different in each room, but tastefully done with nice common rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the... More
