We stayed here to attend the last weekend of the Minnesota Renaissance festival. The campground was still pretty full. It is nestled behind a landscaping supply yard, so there is a bit of noise, also from kids playing and the highway nearby. If you're looking for remote wilderness (which we weren't) this might not be the place. I assume that... More

We stayed here for several days while attending a wedding in Bloomington and touring the Minneapolis area. The campground was clean, and the staff pleasant. The campground had great trees that shielded you from the industrial area it was located in.

New owners are horrible, sour pusses and are not only rude to their customers but allow other staff to be as well. Sites are supposed to be gravel but are mostly dirt/mud and unlevel. Water pressure is lacking. Being in a an industrial area with concrete and landscape trucks going by all day long covers everything in dust all the... More

We have had great stays at KOAs because they have always been clean. This KOA however was a bit of a let down. There was no water pressure in the bathrooms. My husband says that the men's bathroom was not up to the usual KOA standard and tent sites weren't all that level. Also, when we went to unplug our... More

I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews on this KOA, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. We stayed 3 nights in a 1 room cabin and spent a lot of our time sight seeing around the twin cities. We found the campground in pretty good shape, staff was polite, the pool seemed clean... More

We stayed here because they had an indoor pool and the weather in Minnesota can be so unpredictable in early spring. Big mistake...the concrete around the pool is crumbling and there are sharp pieces around the pool deck and even in the pool. They have 8 chairs for the entire indoor pool area so you need to bring your own... More

Just a quick overnight stay. A shame that the showers are at the other end of the park from where our RV is parked. Quick and easy check in and a heated pool if we had time. Just off the highway signage was poor until we where at the turn but that's what gps r for.

Friendly, receptive and helpful owners. Although site is awkward off the main highway, once you are within the campgrounds, you are in a wooded setting with a true camping feel. I highly recommend this campground. It is a diamond in the rough.

We stayed here during the past week and loved our experience. Our dog and us stayed in cabin 4. The cabin was perfect for us and the ability to have some "yard" for our dog to enjoy was nice. The cabin is next to the trash but rarely did it smell. The female showers had a good pressure and we... More

White-haired old krone at the desk is just a horror to deal with. Old man selling wood has the personality of a rabid skunk. These people should not be in customer service. Rest of the staff seem helpful. Toilets seldom flush, shower drains frequently plugged. No anti-scald valves on the showers so You'd better hope no one flushes a toilet... More
