Friendly, receptive and helpful owners. Although site is awkward off the main highway, once you are within the campgrounds, you are in a wooded setting with a true camping feel. I highly recommend this campground. It is a diamond in the rough.

We stayed here during the past week and loved our experience. Our dog and us stayed in cabin 4. The cabin was perfect for us and the ability to have some "yard" for our dog to enjoy was nice. The cabin is next to the trash but rarely did it smell. The female showers had a good pressure and we... More

White-haired old krone at the desk is just a horror to deal with. Old man selling wood has the personality of a rabid skunk. These people should not be in customer service. Rest of the staff seem helpful. Toilets seldom flush, shower drains frequently plugged. No anti-scald valves on the showers so You'd better hope no one flushes a toilet... More

I am a tent camper and usually camp in more rustic campgrounds. We met family here for a weekend of camping, as it was a convenient halfway point. The sites are really small (and most here are in campers/RVs), but we were on the end and it didn't feel too cramped (sites 44/45). Our 4-year old son loved the playground,... More

We stayed in the bunk Cabins. Very cozy for 2 People. The camp grounds are in a industrial area , But you would never know once you are in the camp grounds. We were only going to stay one night and hotel the next. But we loved this place so much we stayed more nights.

We recently rented one of the 4-person cabins for the Halloween weekend celebration. We had a blast. The campground is very small and you can hear traffic from the nearby highway but I loved it. The staff is so friendly and helpful. There is a mini golf course, banana seat bikes for rental, and an indoor heated swimming pool. The... More

Good location, but that's where it stops. Rotten WIFI, and we were two spots away from the main building. They advertised heated pool--they lied. The roads are VERY dusty. The pool is 4 feet deep at minimum, so the little kids can't go in unless you carry them, and then they freeze.

We came in late at around 9pm and left the next morning so we didn't get a chance to experience the on-site activities. It's the closest campground to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival.

Had to stay in the area for a few days b/c of a family emergency and really wish we didn't. To begin with the office is really smelly (Diapers? Cat litter box?) and the showers & restrooms are filthy. There IS a pool but the dark ring of dirt around it and murky water is a little off-putting. Sites are... More

This campground did all they could to make our family reunion a success. We all enjoyed the facilities, cleanliness and overall setting. The grounds are beautiful, the sites are practical and well kept and the location is ideal. Adults can enjoy camping while kids are entertained with activities including pool and hayrides. The owners Kim and John did all they... More
