Had business in the Spirit Lake Ia, and elected to stay in Jackson to save money. Very nice hotel, located just off of the interstate, restraurants very close by for dinner, Room was clean and quiet, The motel has a small lounge off of the lobby. The Americinn in Jackson is the best hotel in Jackson, although it hasn't a great deal of competition. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is no room service apart from micro-waved pizza which is tastier than it sounds. There is also a small bar which only sells 3.2% "light" beers.
