We required a b&b just outside york for the weekend and what a gem we found. Susan and Jeff were excellent hosts and so friendly. The breakfast was second to none the home made croissants were delicious. York just 20 mins away. Excellent accomodation and we would certainly recommend this little gem as we could not fault it.

We spent a very pleasant 2 nights at Maypole Farm , chosen because of its ideal location between Selby and York for the Tour de Yorkshire. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the choice at breakfast time was exceptional. The hosts were attentive and helpful in all matters. Thank you.

Visited Cawood to attend a family christening. The owners of the B&B allowed us to check in early so we could freshen up after the journey. We were given a warm welcome and shown to our room . I don't think I have ever had such a well appointed room. The owners seem to have thought of everything. The room... More

I'd booked a night at the Maypole Farm after seeing the TripAdvisor reviews. And I wasn't disappointed. The main plus point to this B&B are the people. Very friendly, and full of information and helpful hints. We didn't have time to experience the award winning cooked breakfast, but the continental breakfast was wide ranging and full of choices. We also... More

We used to live in Cawood and returned to visit friends, so Maypole Farm was the obvious choice. Jeff and Sue had given a lot of thought to their guests possible requirements, we have stayed in quality hotels that have been far less equipped. We stayed in the Garden room and my only negative was that there was no wardrobe,... More

Wonderful 200 year old home with incredible service. Jeff and Sue could not have been more hospitable. Food was great, room was very comfortable with all amenities, and location was good for access to Selby, York, Leeds etc.
