Well the other hotels were booked, I can't imagine why!!! This place can't be making money. first the hot tub was over the top with some type of chemical that it burnt our eyes and changed the color of our swim trunks!!! The rooms still used keys on the locks (unsecured). The restaurant food was awful and COLD! The one... More

We eat at the Cedars Dining Room quite often. They have a great "sundowner" menu with consistently great food. You can get a great entree, choice of soup/salad, popovers, potato, dessert AND a drink for under $20. However, the rooms are horrible. The floors are stained, the beds lumpy and TVs OLD. In addition, we had a special room reserved... More

I have stayed in Grand Rapids many times the sawmill is where I prefer to stay. The rooms are nothing special but decent. It's clean, they have a nice pool and there restaurant is very good. There are two cheaper places in town but the couple extra dollars are worth it.

We stayed for a hockey tournament. The rooms were very outdated and the bathroom was very small. We had a poolside room and it reaked of chlorine. Access to the room was from outside and the edges of the door were frosted over. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. There was free WiFi but it was so spotty I could not... More

The room was clean and the bathroom was great... though small. They have the greatest pool for an adult, from 3 feet to 9 feet. Though the pool and the room were good the heating system needs an update. My room was overly warm and when called the staff was very helpful and courteous. My bed was also very comfortable.... My husband and I stopped in for a drink last night and sat at the bar. The bar has a sour smell to it, like it needs to be cleaned. What was more disappointing was the bar staff. One bartender was eager to get off work and made it very clear to the patrons in the bar. The other bartender... More

No Wifi at least in #102. Did not work well in restaurant. Rooms are bland. So is the food. I would not stay here again even though it is less money. Mgr told me after the fact that they are upgrading wifi in a couple of months. Not very accomadating.

The lobby is nice and the restaurant was good. The beds weren't real comfortable but my room was clean. However I had a room on the second floor by the pool and the chlorine smell was too strong and noise is loud. The staff was neither rude nor overly pleasant. I didn't hate it but may try another hotel next... More

I had really mixed feelings about staying at this motel, because of the negative reviews, but I was part of a very large group, two motor coaches and had no control over the site selected. I was pleasantly surprised. I felt the outside, lobby area and dining rooms and bar were all very nice. The public bathroom by the big... More

This 'place is lacking in everything a hotel should have. the carpets throughout the hotel are old and stained. The service I had at the front counter went from friendly to rude depending on who was taking care of me. The rooms are out dated the tv's are from the 90's. the carpet was so filthy in my room I...
