My wife and I stayed here while I had a job interview. The caretakers at the time (Bonnie and Cal) were super nice people and very accommodating. The room we got was very cozy and comfortable. The price was quite a value for what all you get. The breakfasts were very tasty. If I ever make it back that way,... More

We stayed here in Aug 2013 and we found it to be a lovely B&B. The rooms are lovely and everything has been thought about to make your sty memorable. Karen and Ron are lovely hosts and very welcoming and there is a wine and cheese evening every day for people to get to know each other. The breakfast was... More

We could not have asked for a better place to stay while riding the Mesabi Trail for 3 days. Everything was absolutely outstanding from the warm welcome, the comfortable suites, the delicious breakfasts, and the informative help on the area attractions. Karen and Ron are gracious hosts and their home is the most comfortable B&B we have ever stayed at.

We stayed here 3 days ago when we rode the Mesabi Trail. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was incredible! The gardens were in full bloom so a stroll through the several gardens on the property was relaxing after pedaling 60 miles. We will be back.

This B&B is in town so there will be some traffic noise of cars going up and down the street. It was quiet during the night but noise of cars passing started about 6:30 a.m. This likely affected us more than the other guests because our room was right at the front of the house, with a private entrance off... I can't recall when I last stayed at a B&B right in town, so I wasn't sure what to expect. This lovely home in a quiet neighborhood did not disappoint. I was happy with the Captain's Room downstairs. Just off of the dining area, it was very convenient to get refills of hot water for tea - and a couple... More

Ron and Karen made us feel really comfortable. They arranged for tickets to the Reif performing centre. The play "The Doll. house was terrific. The social wine and hors'douvres were welcomed in the late afternoon. A three course breakfast was delicious. The suite Champagne and Roses was more than comfortable and spacious. The B&B is handy to local art galleries... More

We were on a two week road trip which was a mix of camping, family visits, and B&Bs. After camping for four days we were especially thrilled with the comfy and pretty suite (Champagne and Roses room) and the jacuzzi. As a tea drinker, I was especially charmed with the assortment of Harvey and Sons gourmet teas, herbal teas, and... More
