Second time here and we think this place comfortable, quiet and clean!

This resort has nice large rooms which face the lake. Some have patio or deck. Very friendly staff. Restaurant, gift shop, bar all on site.

spent one night and truly a restful stay. clean, comfortable bed. nice views of the lake. breakfast was ok 1 waitress taking care of 2 groups so we did not get the personal service.however the front office for the hotel were great and hospitable

I would recommend this hotel if you must stay in Ely for a few nights en route to the Boundary Waters, but NOT as a destination resort. The most important perk for us was that they are dog-friendly!!
