The A.G. Thomson house is the best! My wife and I stayed for 2 nights over our 1st anniversary. When we got there, Tim greeted us by the car, and showed us in. The house is so cozy and comfortable. We could have sat for hours in their living room reading books and relaxing. The grounds are beautiful, and large... More

We were on a quick one-night trip. Wonderful home in a nice location and the best innkeepers we have ever met. This place is just great, Tim and Angie made us feel right at home. Nice breakfast and even a bit of a local history lesson included in a brief property tour. Do not miss a stay here if you... More

Angie and Tim are among the best Innkeepers we've met! Website is spot on to set your expectations. The house and grounds are lovely. Breakfasts are gourmet everyday. Excellent suggestions for dining out and touring the area. If they could order up sunshine for you, they would! We were blessed with that too!

Was my husband and I first stay at a Bed and Breakfast.. The A.G. Thompson House was the most beautiful thing I have seen.. I would of rather of spent my time in the flower gardens reading instead of sight seeing around Duluth and Two Harbors.. Was a joy to come back to our rooms and everything made and fluffed... More

The A.G. Thompson House is a beautiful historic mansion restored to include all of the modern amenities. The owners were wonderful, thoughtful and completely focused on making sure we were comfortable in their home. Their attention to details were evident in the stocked fridge, immaculate landscaping and their willingness to deliver breakfast to our room each morning. Without reservation, I... More

My husband and I stayed at A.G Thomson House for our 25th wedding anniversary. We had an amazing stay! The landscaping was unbelievable! There were flowers and fountains everywhere. We found the grounds to be spacious with numerous areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The inside of the house was as beautiful as the grounds. The home was immaculate... More

This place deserves the great reviews. The Superior room was everything a couple could ask for and Tim and Angie have thought of everything. We had our breakfast brought to our room each day and it was piping hot and delicious! I don't know who does the cooking but it was fantastic! Some of the best and most creative breakfasts... More

We stayed in the Lake Superior Suite for our fifth anniversary and felt welcome from the very beginning. It is an absolutely beautiful room with great amenities, and the attention to detail is very evident. The fridge was stocked with complimentary soda, water, and wine. Breakfast was amazing, as were the free cookies. The grounds and main house are well... More

We were not disappointed when stayed in Duluth. This is a beautiful bed and breakfast. The attention to detail is really evident. The furnishings in the gathering area, the amenities, the delicious breakfast and the grounds make this a top notch place to stay. We would love to stay here again.

My husband and I just spent four lovely days at Tim and Angie's B&B. The property is amazing with its tastefully appointed common areas, and Tim and Angie were most gracious hosts. We stayed in the Lake Superior Suite which was wonderful. We especially enjoyed our breakfasts each morning on the private patio. Speaking of breakfast, one word.....incredible! Thanks Tim... More
