My wife and I stayed at the AG Thomson house for our honeymoon and we couldn't have been more impressed. The house is full of character, very warm and inviting and offered us plenty of space to feel alone and relax. Tim and Angie are great hosts! We were greeted with a smile and a handshake upon arrival and were... More

What a wonderful experience for a couple of 70 + year-olds for our first stay ever at a B & B. My husband needs oxygen and CPAP so we had extra luggage. The owners, Angie and Tim, were right there when we arrived to carry our luggage to our room. After a tour of the home and explanation of a... More

Such kind words - thank you! We are so happy your family sent you our way and that your first B&B experience was a positive one! We may be biased, but we think a B&B stay is always the way to go! And we had such a great time visiting with you; just not enough time! We will hope to... More

Everything we were looking for in a unique B&B experience was present at AG Thomson, and we could not have been happier with our hosts. I was most impressed by the attention to detail that Tim & Angie have given over their years as owners. We stayed for two nights so we had a fair amount of time to spend... More

Thanks so much! We had such a great time visiting with you, and were happy we could show you some of the other rooms. They are all a little different, so it's always nice to be able to compare if possible! We were also happy this was your first B&B stay and that it won't be your last!! We will... More

This was our first B&B experience, and I want to do it annually based on this experience. Angie's breakfasts were beyond amazing and our overall stayed was unique and romantic. Highly recommend to anyone!! We even watched a family of 4 deer run around and play one evening! Beautiful location and home!

The A.G. Thompson house was an excellent place for us to celebrate our anniversary and babymoon. Angie & Tim were very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable and they go the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable and ensure they have everything they need (the chocolate chip cookies are great!). We enjoyed staying in the Brule... More

My husband and I just returned from our two night stay at Angie and Tim's house (AG Thomson house). It was wonderful. This was our very first bed and breakfast experience. My husband was pretty reluctant as he is a private person, but was completely won over by the trip end. It was so homey, and relaxing and extremely private... More

Our trip to Duluth was truly enhanced by staying at the AG Thomson House. We had such a lovely time there for our anniversary and definitely will be returning. Angie and Tim, the inn keepers, were warm and gracious, it felt like we were visiting old friends. They took the time to give us a tour of their beautiful home... More

My wife and I have been going to a bed and breakfast every year to celebrate our wedding anniversary for many years. A.G. Thomson is one of the best B&Bs we have visited. The breakfasts were spectacular, room was comfortable, our hosts were very gracious. They made us feel welcome and at home beginning with Angie welcoming us before we... More

The A.G. Thomson House is fabulous. The house is inviting from the moment you pull up to the front drive. We have been there twice now and Tim and Angie are fantastic hosts. Both times we have been there they were there to greet us with a warm hello and great introduction to the house and our room. The decor... More
