My new wife and I stayed at the A.G. Thomson House for a short honeymoon getaway after our wedding. Even though this was our first B&B stay, I can't imagine going to another one which would compare. We stayed in the Lake Superior Suite and it was AMAZING!!! Highly recommended for anyone looking for just a little bit more privacy.... more

We had the most wonderful stay at the A.G. Thomson House for our 10th anniversary. The house is absolutely beautiful and our room was so romantic with the in room whirlpool tub and gas fireplace. The breakfasts each morning were absolutely delicious and so nice to talk to other guests and our hosts, Angie & Tim, while dining. The Duluth... more

Where do I begin on the best experience my Wife and I have ever had at a B&B? First of all, driving up to the house was absolutely beautiful. We came in the Fall, so we got some beautiful Fall colors. But, then you finally get to the A.G. Thomson B&B, and along with the surrounding scenery, we both knew... more

The bed and breakfast was absolutely beautiful. Pulling up to it on a fall afternoon was the perfect start with the trees changes and seeing this home set up on a hill. The neighborhood is also wonderful with gorgeous homes. From the moment we stepped in we felt like home and were greeted by Angie. She gave us a tour... more

Accommodations were beautiful and very well kept from the outside grounds to the main house to the Lake Superior Suite (separate carriage house that we definitely recommend - beautiful)! Watched three deer walk through the back yard one morning! Delicious breakfast served in a sunny room - enjoyed visiting with other guests!! Fresh chocolate cookies served each day - missed... more

This was my first experience at a bed and breakfast, I have never felt so pampered on a vacation. Tim and Angie made sure to put a personal touch on every detail. I don't know too many places that would leave truffles on the pillow after the room was made up everyday, or fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. We... more

The A.G. Thomson House is one of the best B&B's we've stayed in. Tim & Angie are great hosts and made us feel very comfortable in their beautiful home. The breakfast was exceptional with the spicy chocolate pumpkin muffins out of this world. The rooms are very nice and Tim's craftsmanship and Angie's decorating talents keep the home true to... more

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary in Duluth staying at the A G Thompson Bed & Breakfast. It was a delightful stay! Angie and Tim have a beautifully restored and furnished mansion that we loved spending time in. We stayed in the Ryerson Suite which has a cozy heated porch in addition to a well appointed bedroom complete with four poster... more

This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast, and we were certainly spoiled by it. The Superior Room was like our own place. We didn't realize it was the whole lower level of the carriage house. It was much bigger then the website pictures. We loved it! The main house was beautiful, AND comfy, with an absolutely positive... more
