My sister and I wanted to get away for some long overdue "bonding" time and the AG Thomson House couldn't have been a more perfect choice. We spent several days touring the cities of Duluth and Two Harbors, but the highlight of our trip was staying in this beautiful home. Tim and Angie are the perfect hosts and made our... more

Tim and Angie helped to make our 10th anniversary trip to Duluth very relaxing and memorable. We loved the Superior Suite in the Carriage House. All the little details made us feel very pampered - the wine and soda in the fridge, the scented soap and the plush towels and comfy robes were all so nice. We especially loved the... more

We read consistently fantastic reviews on this B&B. After staying for two nights this week, we can say that the reviews are 100% accurate. This is a wonderful place...and innkeepers too. We've done lots of B&Bs over the years, all over the country. The A.G. Thomson House is right at the top. Probably the best breakfasts we've ever had in... more

A big thank you to Tim and Angie for their hospitality during our recent anniversary trip to Duluth. The accomodations are beautiful! The hosts are incredibly gracious. I requested a specific bottle of wine to be in our room when we arrived and there it was! The breakfast will not leave you hungry! Though it was cloudy and rainy the... more

Hi guys! Thank you so much for your kind words - it was a great pleasure meeting you and being able to provide a much needed rest. We hope to see you again when you are able to get away to visit your daughter at UMD. (All the best to her!) You will have a home away from home! Thanks...

My husband ran the marathon in Duluth. We heard about the A.G. Thomson House from some friends who knew the owners, Tim and Angie. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, so decided to give it a try. We had a wonderful experience. Tim and Angie went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Their... more

From the moment I initially called to book our stay to the moments before we left our memorable weekend Tim and Angie were hospitable, warm and kind. The room was beautiful, the breakfast and amenities were fantastic and the atmosphere of the home in general was exactly what we had hoped for - inviting and relaxing. As a first timer,... more

The AG House, both the house beauty and the staff assistance, was absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend and I stayed from a Thursday evening until Sunday after breakfast and we will have a hard time finding a romantic getaway anywhere in the states. If you're looking for a nice getaway with your significant other, I cannot imagine anywhere, especially in the... more

"Duluth was a great way to get away for a weekend! We spent time walking the waterfront and exploring Canal Park. We visited great bars and resturants and staged trips up the North Shore to Goosebury Falls and Split Rock Light House. Our busy days and nights were made even better by "coming home" to our great room, which was... more

We stayed in Duluth to run grandmas marathon and couldn't have asked for more from this gorgeous B & B. The Lake Superior Suite was the perfect retreat after 26.2 miles! The food was wonderful and the house magnificent. Best Experience Ever! We will definitely stay again next time we are in Duluth. 5 stars all the way! more

You two are so sweet - thank you so much!! What a great group we had that weekend and some wonderful connections made. Don't forget to look up C&S in CB, Iowa! They mean it and would welcome you with open arms. Of course, we would love to welcome you back here too! We can have long conversations about your...
