We arrived late afternoon on a Friday. Tim and Angie greeted us like we were family. Our room was BEAUTIFUL (we stayed in the Salyards). What I was really amazed at was the hospitality that we received. I was nervous because it was our first time in a B&B, but, they made us feel welcome and then gave us our... More

We recently spent a weekend in Duluth at A.G. Thomson House for my husband's birthday and had a wonderful stay. We stayed in the Hewitt room and enjoyed our delicious breakfasts on our private balcony with views of the beautiful neighborhood, sunrise and lake. The house, gardens and property are meticulously maintained and hosts Tim and Angie were so friendly.... More

We just spent two days in Duluth and we stayed at this B & B. We were given a gift certificate for this B & B and so were not sure what we were going to find. We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we arrived and were greeted by Tim and Angie. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and so... More

We absolutely loved our stay at the A.G. Thompson House. Tim and Angie were very hospitable and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing. The room was everything we wanted. We will be coming back next year!

Wow! A stay at Tim & Angie's is even more wonderful than the nice stays we've had at other Duluth B&B's with similar high ratings on TripAdvisor. It was phenomenal from start to finish, breakfast to wine package, and from hello to warm goodbyes with promises to return often. A quick walk, just 5 blocks away (turn right at 4th... More

This place is amazing. Angie and Tim are great hosts, there are not enough positive words to say about the two of them (or about their B&B). There are plenty of good reviews on here to validate staying here, and I fully support all of them. Stay here, enough said.

If you are looking to stay at a B&B or never have stayed at one like me then you should stay at the A.G. Thomson House. The rooms are fantastic and the breakfast is to die for. My wife is gluten tolerant and was the first time she has had a muffin and French toast in a long time. Angie... More

We've been to Duluth many times. This was our first B&B stay. It will be hard for any other place to top the A.G. Thomson House. Tim and Angie do an awesome job meeting every one of your needs. Meals, cookies, and coffee are amazing!! Beautiful/spotlessly clean home with amazing landscape and gardens! We'll be back next year!

My wife and I spent two days at the A.G. Thompson house Labor day weekend. We were impressed with the house and our room. Tim and Angie welcomed us when we arrived and gave us a small tour of he house. The breakfasts were delicious. I will definitely return for another stay.

We went to Duluth knowing that we would have a great time with all that the city and surrounding areas have to offer. What we didn't expect was that at the end of our trip the highlight would be where we stayed. From the moment we pulled up we were in awe of the beauty of the house and property.... More
