This looks like a former Americinn. The floors are solid but the doors are not very well insulated and they allow a lot of noise to come in. The bathrooms are tiny but that's usual, I can accept it. The beds are OK, the sinks are nice, the decor is pleasant but the TV's are old tubes, the wall lights... More

If you're just trying to find a decent place to sleep and stay this place works just fine. It's not super stellar and I'm not sure what people are really expecting with the cheap price. The breakfast was decent , enough to fill me up. They just ran out of some food as I got up there 45 min before... More

My first impression as j drove in was very disappointing. Their parking lot is so filled with pot holes you have to swerve constantly to miss any. Good luck with that. The outside of the building doesn't look so bad. The interior however screams 1990s. The wifi is horrible, they still have tube tvs in the rooms. The bathrooms are... More

We needed a place on the way home from the North Shore. The positives: We got a cheap rate via Hotwire, it was easy to find, and all of the hotel personnel we encountered were friendly and helpful. The negatives: The parking lot needs to be repaved, the hotel felt a bit sketchy with the clientele/location, and you could smell cigarette... More

We traveled to Duluth, Mn to visit with family. Staying for 2 nights we pick the Econo lodge by Millers Mall for location. 1.5 miles from the airport, Mall and Downtown area. We had a handicap accessible room, which are all on the 1st floor, for my 89 year old mom. My wife and I had a queen room on... More

First, I will say that Econolodge is not one of my favorite of the Choice Hotel chain. We were tired of looking for a room so decided to take a chance on this one. Honestly, I didn't expect much but the check in clerk was very nice. The lobby was spacious and clean. Indoor pool which we didn't use but... More

First let's address the corporate promotion. Stay 2 separate stays of one night each and the next one is free. Gotta read the fine print. Econo lodge only counts for 1/2 stay. You have to stay two nights together to count for one night credit. They don't mention that on TV or in the large newspaper ads. So I was... More

As other's have stated, the hotel's curb appeal, parking lot and awkward distance from the road may make one wary upon arrival. The lobby's furniture is new and nice, but my initial impression with the wains coating on the wall made me think it was dated. None of these things really matter at all, though. Our hotel room had obviously... More

Just got home from here, and man is my back sore. I was booked here by Hotwire, and this is the only time Hotwire has let me down so miserably. The mattress was awful, the whole hotel reeked of smoke, staff was rather unfriendly at the front desk, the doors walls are paper thin, and they do nothing about guests... More

I cannot understand why the chain motels provide the worse mattresses! this one was so saggy and i felt every lump! my back was sore and i think i got 2 hours of sleep. The manager needs to go around and lay on them. Replace the bad ones. i doubt i will recommend this motel.
