Room was clean but smelled stale. Bar fridge was set on the floor just inside the door as if it had been replaced and no longer fit the old space in the vanity. We stayed here only because there were no other rooms available in Duluth that allowed dogs, but felt robbed at $145/night. Continental breakfast was adequate, as was... More

My dad made arrangements at this motel, and said that they didn't have any non-smoking rooms and that everywhere else was booked up. He says that he put non-smoking and then the web site we booked through ordered us a smoking room, but I wasn't looking over his shoulder so I can't be certain that he didn't make a mistake.... More

We spent the weekend at the Econo Lodge in Duluth, Minnesota (near the Miller Hill Mall) no our of choice, but because we procrastinated too long in getting a reservation for the University of Minnesota Duluth's parents weekend. The Econo Lodge is in an interesting part of town...looks like an area that is being redeveloped...or at least I hope it... More

We stayed here six nights and can't remember a better Econo Lodge than this one. It is on a par with some of the Quality Inn brand-mates we've stayed at. The rooms are spacious enough and have a fridge and microwave, also a desk and easy chair. Our room was completely clean. The walls are thick enough that we didn't... More

The Econo Lodge is adequate if you need to be near the airport. It could have been cleaner and the building and my room was a bit run down, but otherwise it was okay. Sheets and towels were better than expected. The bed was comfortable. Good enough.

My wife and I ended up here as a result of the Priceline "name your own price" feature. I've had very good luck with this feature in the past and have found the average rating for hotels to be fairly reliable. As another reviewer said, this experience made me think about changing my ways. The location of this hotel is... More

Quite by accident we were able to stay at the Econo Lodge. All the rooms where sold out in Duluth as it was there airshow weekend. A friend had booked a room and was going to cancel but when she heard of our dilemma offered us the room. We were pleased that they had not jacked up the price to... More

Decent clean comfortable overnight stay on a very busy weekend in the area, Comfy king bed, pool was nice, staff friendly. Close to airport, big shopping area, easy drive to downtown Duluth, which we found to be cool.

We stayed at the Econo Lodge for the air show. Where to start? 1. The air conditioner was outrageously loud. 2. The back hotel door (right next to our room) would not secure on it's own. 3. Our room door would not secure on it's own. 4. Our window on the first floor facing a dilapidated, abandoned building with graffiti... More

Room was clean. Staff very friendly. Good value. A couple negatives. ... hard to find the entrance in the dark; The halfway was smokey although it didn't bother everyone - my nose is sensitive; The pool advertised 'adult hour' the last hour before closing and this was not enforced. No hot tub quiet time for us. :(
