Do yourself a favor and don't stay at this Red Roof Inn. It's the least accomodating hotel I've ever stayed at and David the GM is a liar! I walked into my 'non-smoking' room and it smelled like stale cigarettes and he told me it was fresh paint! Not good business practice if you ask me. He put me in... more

For the price it's okay. It's clean. Disappointments: Beds were too soft, dated layout and decor, too many stairs, pool was cold and adult hours not enforced, hot tub dirty and small, breakfast was just carbs and no fruit. I'll look for something else the next time in town. more

This was my 2nd stay at Red Roof Inn in Duluth, so I expected a nice place to stay. But I was treated beyond my expectations. Check-in was quick! The front desk staff was very friendly! And they upgraded me to a room with a balcony and a great view just because. I felt appreciated for my business, The room... more

My wife and I booked three nights at this hotel but had to cancel, (which we did at least four days prior to our arrival date). I noticed on my card that I had been charged $62.00 so when I called to inquire I was told that it was for a "no-show" - the cancellation has never been noted. Furthermore,... more

The hotel wasn't fancy and little dated but was clean and reasibly priced. We were only passing through and only stayed one night. I would stay there again. The breakfast was decent (waffles, toast, bagels, cereal) and the worker in the breakfast room very helpful. There weren't elevators and I didn't get a chance to take a look at the... more

Four BIG reasons not to stay... 1) Service- we where told one price and they charged us another. It was a $10 difference and they would not give us what they said. All in all they, David the GM and staff, laughted at us and said we where liers. But if you look on line we where right. They did... more

If you love stairs, the Red Roof Inn - Duluth is the place to go. There are no elevators but when you go down to get your FREE breakfast you will have worked up an appetite. The access is easy to get to the parking lot, but it is difficult to haul your luggage down the stairs to get into... more

I stayed here last week. I paid $59 or $69 for the night. The bathroom was small and had only a shower stall which was very strange, but for the price it was clean and had comfortable beds. The breakfast was good with waffle makers, bagels, English muffins, and little boxes of cereals. It had an indoor pool with hot... more

Ideal for kids that want to play and make a lot of noise with the motel ameneties. However, if you desire to get a good night's sleep you will be disappointed since the building is constructed to have noise from the above floor, hallways and the outside come directly to each interior room. Vehicles from the highway and trains are... more

So after driving a 12 hour day...we check in to our "non smoking room" which happens to smell like stale cigarettes, and the beds are hard as rocks. The best part is this hotel is that they claim everything is brand new, including the hard as a rock beds, when your charging 175.00/night you think they would of loosened up... more
