Loved the location and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hot, tasty and offered a wide variety of choices. The pool was warm, clean and offered showers in the restroom. Would stay here again.

We were extremely pleased with Canal Park Lodge. We had previously stayed at the Comfort Suites Canal Park, which this surpassed in every way. We loved the location, so close to downtown that it was easy to walk to the shops on Superior Street, and of course all of Canal Park was at our doorstep. The breakfast buffet was generous,... More

We had a room with 2 beds and a balcony overlooking Lake Superior. It was gorgeous. The hotel is nice. The staff friendly for the most part. The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable. Great pillows too! I missed the happy hour but I heard it was good. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was good. Scrambled eggs,... More

Found the staff wonderful and knowledgable. Location was superb as were the rooms and amenities. Hot breakfast was delicious. Wifi was strong and the pool/whirlpool we great. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to another stay.

My girlfriend and I wanted to take in some fall colors and thought the North Shore was the place to do it. We decided on the Canal Park Lodge as the place to stay. Reservations went smoothly as did check-in. The entire facility, and grounds are very well cared for as well as beautiful. I love Mission Style furnishings and... More

We really like this hotel. It's right next to the boardwalk and our room looked over Lake Superior. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were well equipped (refrigerator, microwave, free wifi). Their breakfast is varied and very nice. They have a cash bar every night, and very comfortable sitting areas both inside and outside. Our only complaint is that... More

We stayed here twice. At the beginning of our trip up the north shore and the last night before returning to Minneapolis. It's a lovely hotel. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Clean and quiet. The breakfast is above average too. The only disappointment for us is the high price. I know it was a Friday night and peak... More

We've been coming to Duluth for 16 years now for the Northshore Inline Marathon in Sept. For the past 7 years, we stayed at the Hampton Inn in Canal park. It suited our needs just fine. However, this past summer, we called to confirm our yearly reservation with them and no one could find record of our party of four... More

When traveling to our favorite city in Minnesota, we always try the Canal Park first. We spend a little more but our BIG king suite is gorgeous and we LOVE it. We like to just stay in our suite and sit on our deck and enjoy Lake Superior. Order in and enjoy. Thanks for another great stay Canal Park Lodge.... More

We stayed at the Canal Park Lodge for 3 nights. This place is awesome. It is within walking distance of just about anything you want to do in the canal park area. The only reason we took the car out Wednesday was due to winds and some rain. It is right on Lake Superior with wonderful walking paths up and... More
