I went to this hotel for a vacation. I had a room with two double beds. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and courteous. The hotel was new, clean, quiet and well worth the price. I couldn't hear the rooms on either side of us, or the people upstairs. I loved that I had a city view of... More

My family stayed here for 1 night on our journey up the shore. The hotel is brand new and nice. No complaints about our room. We had a room with two double beds - They were comfortable and just fine for our family. I appreciated the small refrigerator and microwave in the room. Everything was clean and just as we... More

I went to Duluth for a couple of days with my husband, nine month old, and four year old and we stayed at Park Point Marina Inn. The Inn is newly built and everything is very clean and in good shape. There is a nice main room with a fireplace and breakfast tables that is cozy and friendly. The breakfasts... More

My husband and I planned to spend several days in Duluth. I picked the Park Point Marina for several reasons. The hotel is new so I knew it would be clean and modern. Also, I found a great room rate through Expedia, $128 per night. We were on the city side, but the room was a good size and had... More

I'm a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth, and I have been coming to Duluth at least once a summer or more ever since I graduated several years ago from UMD. I have stayed at least one night in all the hotels in Canal Park, and the Holiday Inn & Radisson in downtown Duluth as well. I was so excited... More

The Park Point Marina Hotel is new, having just opened at the end of May, 2014. Our room, on the 3rd floor, had a balcony overlooking the marina - very nice! The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious. Having a small refrigerator and microwave was convenient. The staff were friendly and made us feel immediately welcome upon... More

Nice to have everything shiny and new. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful. We had a harbor view room on third floor-perfect for us with the window open all night and the balcony for watching the boats. The breakfast was adequate but the first morning the eggs and hash browns were ice cold. We took the... More

The pros: Brand new, very clean, quiet, spacious room with comfortable beds. That should be good enough, but... The cons: Clueless/young staffers who need lessons in customer service, ridiculous 10:30AM check-out time (even when they begrudgingly agreed to give us a "late" check-out of 11:30, they still called the room around 11 to scoldingly remind us that check-out was 10:30),... Everything is clean and in good condition. The staff are helpful, but a little slow. My room had a balcony overlooking the bridge, and that was the most interesting feature. It is not in walking distance of anywhere to eat or attractions to visit. The complimentary breakfast is pretty generic. They have swimming for the kids- helpful. It was missing... More
