This was my second stay at this hotel/bed and breakfast and it was even better than the first time. You have your option for either the BandB or the apartment style rooms in a separate house there is an upstairs and a down stairs. Location, Location, Location!!! We picked this B&B for it's location right on Lake Superior's shore and for it's walking distances to the Aerial Bridge, Canal Park, the Lake Walk and the many restaurants in the downtown area. Solglimt is the perfect Duluth/North Shore accommodation. It's location is ideal. It is just across the beautiful lift bridge and a short walking distance from all that Canal Park has to offer. The Solglimt Bed & Breakfast is a very nice, relaxing place to stay near canal park in Duluth. The house is located right on the other side of the lift bridge from canal park. Its walking distance- just over the bridge to all canal park has to offer. We liked being out of the busy hotels area at canal park.... more
