I have to admit, if you don't know about this Bed & Breakfast, your missing out. There is so much history here that I did not know about. We stayed at the Cotten Mansion on our honeymoon at the end of Oct. We were close to the harbor, tourist area, and other sites to explore. We were lost at first... More

My husband and I spent five days of our honeymoon at the Cotton Mansion located in Duluth. We started our day every morning on the terrace anxiously awaiting our personal delivered gourmet meal. Each breakfast had a tasteful presentation and a personal touch. We also enjoyed spending our late nights soaking in the whirlpool tub. Kimberely and Ken the hosts... More

I'm not sure where the bad reviews came from but I don't think they stayed at the same place as we did! This house is gorgeous and the owners have taken such care to restore it. You can tell they take great pride in this home. Kimberly and Ken were very nice and had a great sense of humor. It... More

Ahh! The Terrace Suite at the Cotton Mansion. As you will read in the journals that people often do at B & B Inns, if you reference 2/10/02 and 5/16/05, you will find that the Cotton Mansion holds a special place in my heart (and my wife Erin's heart too)! My wife and I have stayed at several very, very... More

Last week we returned from our 2nd stay at The Cotton Mansion Bed & Breakfast in Duluth. Once again, we loved it. Here's the step by step feel & experience one has at a top notch B&B. Upon arrival, the exterior looks nice & the grounds are well maintained. When first walking into the Cotton Mansion, we were overwhelmed &... More

We drove into the fog and beauty of Duluth, then up to the Cotton Mansion for our honeymoon. The breakfast in the morning was spectacular, then off to a fun day shopping in Duluth or up the north shore hiking in the parks, back to be spoiled with wine, shrimp, cheese and crackers (or wonderful chocolate covered strawberries) from 4-6... In June 2005, my husband and I spent a wonderful weekend in the Terrace Suite at The Cotton Mansion to celebrate our fifth anniversary. The bed and breakfast is a beautifully restored mansion from the early 1900s located near Lake Superior in Duluth. The owners of The Cotton Mansion were extremely gracious and thoughtful, they even got me non-alcoholic champagne... More

We have stayed at a couple of different B&Bs in Duluth and the Cotton Mansion was the best! We stayed at the Cotton Mansion for our honeymoon. It completely exceeded our expectations. The house iteself is amazing, the staff is very welcoming, and just when you think your stay couldn't possibly get any better, they serve you wonderful gourmet food!... More

The previous reviews are totally untrue. The mansion was gorgeous and classical music playing in the background was uplifting. Our room had a jacuzzi in it where we were able to light candles - very romantic. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was great. I wasnt all that thrilled about eating my breakfast with the other guests at... More

The house is stunning, there's no doubt about it, and with the blockade of my best friend to shield me (and pinch me under the table when we had to laugh) the trip was great. The place, however, is somewhere between laughably and unbearably snotty. I'd rather not have a lesson in pretense over breakfast (coming to that, I'd side... More
