My boyfriend and I recently traveled to the Cotton Mansion for a weekend getaway from our busy lives. I must say it was one of the most relaxing and romantic vacations I have been on in years, and the service was spectacular. Breakfast was a real treat and we loved the whirlpool. We will be back again soon!

We went to the Cotton Mansion for our honeymoon. It was relaxing, beautiful, private, quiet, and all in all the perfect spot. I would recommend this B&B to anyone.

I am happy to report that our weekend away at the Cotton Mansion was nothing short of ideal. The Mansion itself is wonderfully kept, and spotlessly clean, with a fascinating and rich history. The owners do a wonderful job of preserving the historic details of the home, while providing the modern details that make for a peaceful, elegant stay. For... More

Despite the owner's efforts to make rooms in an old property appear charming and quaint in this B&B, the room we had just looked and felt old. Even Duluth, Minnesota gets hot in the summer so the small, old room air conditioner was capable of keeping the room cool enough but was very noisy all night. There was no phone... More

My first impression upon entering the Cotton Mansion was how exquisite it is! I have an appreciation of historic architecture, and the owners have done a beautiful job with this home. Our room was comfortable, the public areas were warm and inviting, the hosts were as well. Breakfast was excellent, and we enjoyed Ken's story of how they came to... More

Spent the weekend at the Cotton Mansion for our 6th anniversary. It exceeded my expectations. We stayed in the Belle Cotton room and loved the decor and soothing colors. The mansion itself is unique, huge, and a lot of fun to hang out in. My new favorite smell is lavender - thank you Kim for the shampoo. We had breakfast... More

What a wonderful place to spend our 35th wedding anniversary! We have spent nights in many different bed and breakfasts and Cotton Mansion is by far one of the best. The Sunset Room was perfect for us and we enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub. The entire mansion was beautifully renovated and pleasant to relax in alone or with other guests. Breakfasts... More

We were not sure what to expect when we found the Cotton Mansion while surfing the internet. What a gem! We could not believe our eyes when we arrived at the Cotton Mansion. We were so taken back by its architecture. We were greeted by Kimberly with a warm smile, and she made us feel relaxed and comfortable immediately. This... More

We stated at the Cotton Mansion for two days. A very unique home, indeed, and for the value I thought it was a good buy for the dollar. The owners had the house for sale at the time of our stay and I had the impression that they were looking to move on. I have an interest in history and... More

It was my birthday and we needed a little get-away. In Minnesota the time between Christmas and spring seems like a l-o-n-g time. Enter: The Cotton Mansion! This was our second stay, and the warm, elegant atmosphere - is to die for. The Cotton Mansion is the most beautiful bed & breakfast I've ever stayed at. My husband and I... More
