We spent two nights at The Cotton Mansion early in the summer season. The home is in a lovely, historic neighborhood and within a nice walking distance of Lake Superior. This common rooms are large and have a number of smaller areas to gather so you can enjoy the space without feeling like you're intruding on other guests. The architectural... More

My husband and I have stayed at this B&B twice - in the Terrace Suite both times. It's a wonderful place to get away! For being in a neighborhood, it's incredibly QUIET. You'll have no idea that you're in Duluth, and not far from downtown at all. The food is served as fine dining and Kim and Ken did a... More

We travel alot and have had the good fortune to experience many Bed and Breakfasts across the U.S. This is a beautifully restored historic bed and breakfast. We would have loved to have heard the history but the college student who checked us in didn't know the history and the owners were nowhere to be found. 'Mystery wine' and crackers... More

My husband and I stayed at the Cotton Mansion in one of the carriage house rooms. The restoration of the building is beyond description. Intricately carved woodwork, stained glass and grand rooms look as they might have looked originally. There are a number of rooms on the second floor of the main house, but we chose to stay in the... We spent the weekend at the Cotton Mansion and had an absolutely fabulous stay! Ken and Kim were very gracious hosts and made us feel right at home. They provided us wonderful accommodations, delicious eats, and delightful entertainment. It was the perfect get-a-way during a busy, hectic Christmas season. We have stayed in other B&Bs, but no other experience can... More

Wonderful place for a celebration. Historic mansion with great rooms, wonderful service and hospitality. Convenient to downtown Duluth, great restaurants up old Highway 61 nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Whether in the main building or in the carriage house the rooms are spacious, cozy and relaxing. Nice place for a get away.

From the moment you enter the drive way of the mansion, you feel regal! The hosts are most gracious. The mansion is truly a history lesson of dulth, with many historical pictures and books to look at. The rooms are so very romantic as well. Breakfast was fabulous. If you are looking for a romantic place to stay in Duluth,... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Cotton Mansion during my first trip to Duluth, and it was absolutely wonderful. We planned our visit to the city only one week before we went, and we managed to get into the B&B through another guest cancellation (I had emailed through the website to be put on the wait list). It was... More

I really can't add anything more to the previous reviews which praised this wonderful B&B. They pretty much covered all the bases. My husband and I stayed there with another couple, and we all felt we might end up part of a British murder mystery a la Hercule Poirot since the staircase and the placement of the rooms around the...
