Last minute trip planned to drive up the north shore from Deerwood. Made reservation via phone & was hesitant at first due to the inexpensive price. Glad we took it. Close to everything. Didn't have to move car. Easy parking. Just a short walk to the canal park. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Was extremely surprised to find this great little hotel tucked away amongst the tall buildings. The rooms were spacious, clean & comfortable. All the amenities in the room worked just fine (TV, heat, coffee pot, etc.) The bathroom looked newly upgraded. The bed was very comfortable & parking seemed to be ample, although the place wasn't booked solid. The free... More

This place is adjacent to the skywalk to the medical facilities, which is why we booked 3 rooms when a family member was having surgery. If you're looking for a fancy hotel with big rooms, a pool and other amenities, you can stay next door at the Sheratan and pay more than twice as much. We found the rooms to... More

This review is long overdue. I've had the opportunity to stay here twice and highly recommend it. Unfortunately my stays were driven by the fact that my Mother was having surgical procedures making my free time limited as well as the length of stay somewhat questionable. This is what initially attracted me to this property. Originally I was looking at... More

Good place to sleep and shower. Clean enough. Quiet and comfortable night with no complaints. Hopefully you're busy doing things outside of your hotel room while in Duluth. This place is perfect for exactly that...

We took another chance at the Voyageur and were very pleased. The room was clean, had been updated, did not smell like smoke and had comfortable beds. The location is great -- convenient to a number of restaurants and to downtown Duluth. I previously read a review on room 205 --- and this was our room and it was just... More

Hotels is Duluth are generally more extensive than in other cities in USA. This one was $80 for a room with a king size bed, which is cheap for downtown Duluth. Location is great, cleanliness is average, rooms are dated. During the morning shower I cut my finger with a rusty nail that was sticking out from the faucet! It... More

I want affordable. I don't need glitz and glam when I stay somewhere, because I am out there SEEING things all day. I use the hotel to sleep. This is not a fancy place, but it's exactly what I need. The beds are super comfortable. The hotel itself is cute, and in a great location - just a walking distance... More

This is a great place to stay for walking to everything in Downtown Duluth. We also walked to Canal Park and Bayfront Park. Never moved the car once. If you wanted to go to the North Shore as well it would be easy to get on to freeway/61. It's an old establishment but the price was worth it. yes we... More
