s'mors were plentiful and unique, we had a 2 room suit with 3 beds and balcony, right on the lake walk a few feet to the shore, no beach in front but it was too cold for swimming in May, only thing I wish they had was a resturant, when it rains it is very inconvenient to go out in... more

Stayed here while visiting family in the area. Rooms were good. Proximity to the canal was excellent. Great to see the ships coming and going from the room. Breakfast buffet was ok. Kids loved the smores by the bonfire at night. more

We stayed here for our second time in May of 09. Nice hotel right in Canal Park. We had a room facing the Lake with a small deck. Our room was clean, but the fridge did not cool too fast. A call to the desk brought two people up to help us. They took awhile to fix it, but all... more

I made a very last-minute arrangement to stay at this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised that the price was only about $100, when other hotels on the lake were far more expensive. I was able to get a waterfront room, which made for a very nice walk in the morning. The TV remote in the room didn't work and they... more

My husband and I recently visited the Inn on Lake Superior. We thought the accomodations were great, the location was perfect and the s'mores were a nightly hit! When I visit Duluth in the future, this is the ONLY place I will stay! more

We stayed at the Inn on Lake Superior for two nights for a business meeting. Overall, this is a wonderful place for a business meeting and for family, with good family-type amenities, a great location overlooking Lake Superior, close to shops and restaurants, good friendly staff, and a great value. If you are looking for a romantic escape, you might... more

We have stayed here many times for family gatherings. The Inn is often very crowded in summer, and this stay was no exception. Nonetheless, staff handled things quickly and well, and our group had a good time. The restaurants nearby are good; I recommend the blackened Mahi enchiladas at Angie's Cantina. The bridgeview suite I had was excellent. Two flat... more

Prices are very steep and so you would expect nice quality room and/ror good service, but their service was horrible. The room was good size & had a great view of the lake, but bathroom is small with no tub, only shower and toilet. No counter or sink in bath - the bathroom counter/sink is in your room and also... more

I have to start my saying the roof-top pool is the best part about this hotel! I was a first-time visitor to the Inn on Lake Superior but I can't wait to go back. The service is excellent, the property is beautiful, the rooms are large and modern, (we were upgraded for free to a large room with a balcony... more

This hotel was great. The room we booked was huge...and very clean. It was quiet and the service was amazing. The staff was very polite and helpful in every aspect. The only minor complaint that we had was that the beds were very soft. But otherwise a very good hotel. We would recommend this hotel for sure!! more
