I've stayed at this hotel a few times on business--it is one of my FAVORITES!! The location is great--right on the water. I also love that this is not a huge hotel so it feels very homey and comfortable. Staff has always been wonderful. There's a really comfortable sitting/reading room with an exit directly out to the walking path along... more

The Hampton Inn is a great choice when visiting Duluth. It's located directly on the lake with an amazing view. Rooms were cozy and clean - suggest getting a corner room. It's a perfect place for a romantic getaway. more

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rate was affordable (AAA rate of $117 including tax) and the room was nice. The hotel includes a free breakfast which is servicable, but not great - though the price is right. The hotel also has a nice room off of the breakfast area that overlooks Lake Superior and is filled... more

The room was very nice, a king sized bed with a jacuzzi, however the room was right next to the bathrooms and the breakfast area so very noisy in the morning. The staff was very nice and the complementary breakfast was very good, with pancakes and sausage on Saturday morning. The pool was decently sized and clean. Good area and next... more

The hotel was excellent. Rooms were clean and good in size. In the room were a (quiet) fridge and a big television with a lot programs. The bedspread was not the usual sheet and blanket it was more like a light, thin feather bed. I liked that! The included continental breakfast was high above average. The location was top. Using... more

Three girlfriends and I have been going to Duluth every year for three years, we plan on keeping the tradition going. We thought we had found a great hotel until we had to deal with the staff over the phone on our way to Duluth. We made reservations atleast 9 months in advance asked for two smoking rooms. When we... more

What a great place to stay-- and so reasonably priced. If you're looking for swankier accommodations, you can find them nearby-- but if you're looking for a cozy place with a relaxed atmosphere that's right in the middle of all the major Duluth attractions, this is it. There's a gorgeous verandah (with the most comfortable couches you've ever sat in,... more

This hotel is like all the other Hampton Inn's in Minnesota. It is very clean and has a great (free) breakfast in the morning. I found it odd that it doesn't offer a senior discournt unless you have an AARP card,. I think this should be changed. Nice view of the lake from the breakfast room and it's just a... more

Great hotel with a great view of Lake Superior. Have a little deck area next to the breakfast location. The little deck is very inviting to relax and have coffee or tea. Watched the sunrise from this location and it was incrediable. Some of the room also have a lake view which is nice. But it's still a Hampton Inn,... more

We spent the weekend at the Hampton Inn in Duluth. We had reserved a city view room, but were upgraded to a Canal Viewat check in. The view was incredible. This hotel is right on the shore of Lake Superior with the Duluth Lakewalk just steps away. The first night was rainy and stormy and the waves were huge. We... more
