Hotel unable to provide requested "non Smoking" not once but twice. Despite reservations made 2 weeks prior and when hotel manager was emailed about concern-all I got was attitude and excuses. Unfortunately we had horrible weather so we were not able to take advantage of the great location, but the view of the gigantic waves was awesome to see!! The best part of the hotel is the great breakfast.. It was nice hot food, and not just your normal cereal and coffee.. more

Clean and comfortable at a nice location in Canal Park, close to restaurants, etc.. This would be a great place to stay if running Grandma's as it's right by the finish line. Or to spend the night after exiting the Boundary Waters. more
