We were coming to Duluth to visit some friends and wanted to stay at a hotel so we could have our "own space" Our freinds recommended the Holiday Inn and we are very gald the did! We had two 17 year olds traveling wtih us so what was really nice is that they put us in two adjoining (their recommendation)... more

Stopped here because of the option of a pool on the way up north, can't see much reason to recommend this one over the many other Duluth choices. I see others found good prices, which would make a difference. For us it was expensive and loud. In a way the location isn't close to anything. It's kind of in a... more

Rooms were clean, common areas were worn. The only problem I had was with the design of the hotel and it's pool. I had a room on the tenth floor that was in an open atrium from the 8th to the 10th floor with a pool on the 8th floor. I figured no big deal, pool would probably close at... more

I stayed at this hotel for 2-nights in mid March. I was attending a conference at the Duluth Convention Center. Check in went pretty quickly. Not a lot of verbal interaction with the desk clerk but that was fine by me. Is seemed like there have been a couple of additions put on the hotel in past years and finding... more

As far as i know you can't beat the value of the place. Great rates are available if you know how/when to book. Pluses: Connected to much of Duluth downtown & waterfront via Skywalk. Short walk, either inside or out, to the water and Canal Park. Reliable internet. Multiple dining options in walking distance. Minuses: Skywalk has seen better days... more

This trip marked the second time that I have stayed at this Holiday Inn on business. The hotel is centrally located in downtown Duluth. Almost everything you need is in or near the Holiday center, so it is quite convenient. Likes: The staff members are very courteous and the hotel is relatively clean overall. The hotel has its' own parking... more

Stayed at the Holiday Inn for one night in September. We got a great rate on our room at the last minute from Hotwire.com. The rooms were clean. They had new nice white bedspreads and soft mattresses. The pools were nice but very very busy. On the pool on the third floor there is a kids wading pool also. The... more
