Check in went smooth and very quick. There really wasn't any personal conversation in the least with the customer service rep behind the counter. We were to be 6 adults and a 1-1/2 year old but ended up just 4 adults. We had the three bedroom condo. I was very disgusted at how dirty these rooms were. It was visible... More

First time staying at this resort in Duluth. Chose this resort to be a bit away from the "tourists" down in Canal Park area and to spend my 6th anniversary with my husband. The young gal at check-in was friendly and helpful. We got into our room and we immediately saw signs of wear on the carpets where it was... More

We stayed in a one-bedroom penthouse and paid a lot for the room. The furniture in the living area showed definite signs of wear. The bed linens were old and worn. The kitchen did not have adequate silverware and dishes--there were only two dinner forks and two salad forks. When I mentioned this to the front desk, I was told... More

We were so looking forward to revisiting Beacon Pointe to celebrate our anniversary. Upon arrival we found our room to not be the one we booked and when asked to move were told there was nothing available, yet nobody really even tried to help! The staff was cocky and pretty much useless. We were provided with only one coffee cup,... More

My wife and I went here for our 1st anniversary and we were not disappointed. The view was great of course, but everybody knows that. I think what really made Beacon Pointe excellent was the service--every staff person was friendly (always saying hello) and they would do whatever they could to help. Housekeeping was quick and efficient. One night we... More

We stayed here for our anniversary. Beautiful room with lake view. Spa tub in room. Little fridge and set of dishes. Even a wine bottle opener! The pool was small but nice. Close to downtown. Underground parking was really nice. Great service. Fantastic value. I will stay here again.

Recently stayed over marathon weekend. Location: Convenient location and nice walk to Canal Park and Superior Street. The view of Lake Superior from the room was great. Room: King with pull-out sofa. Nice layout of room; full kitchen with all functioning appliances; variety of cooking utensils. Bed: king bed was fairly comfortable; soft mattress Pull-out sleeper sofa: the mattress was... More

We all know it's right on the lake and has amazing views, it was very foggy the two days we stayed here and we could hardly see the lake, but that's Duluth. We stayed in a condo room and it was very large, nicely updated and comfortable (we were pleasantly surprise when we walked in the room) The breakfast and... More

Our stay at Beacon Point from May 29th thru June 2nd 2014 was a very pleasant experience. Our 1 bedroom room is still in need of their renovation project underway...bed spread show significant sign of age, badly torn seams etc. and their promise of Jacuzzi repair went unfulfilled. The popularity of this place was attested to on Saturday evening when... More

What a beautiful place! When I walked into my condo I was astonished by the wrap around views of Lake Superior and Duluth. The furnishings were top notch. Beautiful kitchen. The king size bed was very comfortable and the Jacuzzi in the bedroom was HUGE! We were literally steps away from the Lake Walk that took us all the way... More
