I barely spent any time here, mostly just to sleep for one night. The view from the room of Lake Superior is awesome! I have mixed feelings about the room. It was a basic king room facing the lake. I like that the bathroom seemed updated and it was big. We did have a handicapped room so maybe that is... More

This resort/luxury condo complex is on the northeast edge of Duluth with a spectacular view of the bay and harbor. Each of the suites are deluxe with all the amenities one would expect with a high end resort/hotel. Three blocks and you are back on the expressway to downtown Duluth with Canal Park about a 10 minute ride. We were... More

We were pleased to find out we received a free upgrade to the best condo in the resort on this particular stay! The room was fantastic and included a beautiful view, full kitchen, fireplace, whirlpool tub, and separate bedroom. Aside from the free upgrade, this hotel is located away from the downtown which is nice but still convenient to popular... More

Great place. Right on Lake Superior. Never seen a better view if the lift bridge. Boardwalk right outside. Plenty of parking. Liked the kitchenette in the room the hot tub overlookung our huge deck. Could tell the lobby was new. There were pictures of the new carpet, beadspreads and furnature in the lobby. The management company is new to this... More

Our family of 4 stayed there a while ago. The view is amazing, right on the water. The breakfast was not great, but I hear it is supposed to improve. You walk in and there is a sofa/bed and tv, then go through past a bathroom, and then into the bedroom, which is lakeview. That's fine, except the sofa bed... More

Beacon Pointe is located at the end of the boardwalk. Great location with beautiful views. The resort feels more like a hotel than a resort. The room was spacious but not luxurious. The carpet was very dirty and the overall cleanliness was acceptable. We did appreciate the underground parking since we visited during the cold season. It looked liked bikes... More

Be advised that they charge a booking fee that they do NOT disclose up front. If you cancel your reservation, even with 24+ notice, they will nick you for $50. It is a lovely area, but with the challenges of traveling up north in the winter, beware of booking.

Booked a weekend with 7 friends to ski and hangout. This was great because each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom AND there was ample common living room/kitchen space to hang out together. We loved it!! Underground heated garage parking much appreciated during winter in Duluth! 3 BR penthouse was so spacious with full kitchen, comfortable king beds, nice... More

My impression of Beacon Pointe - albeit after just one stay - is that it is a vacation property that doesn't quite know what it wants to be when it grows up. Although titled as a "luxury" "resort," as far as I could tell there were no resort amenities on the property, leaving a solidly average condominium complex (that could... More

it was a very quiet place to stay. the views are incredible. the room was very nice even though the bedspread was very dated. the continental breakfast wasn't bad, but could've been a little more expansive. would definitely stay again.
