Best place in Duluth. Where else are we right in the water. Wow! Full kitchen in our unit. Bikes are fun. This building is attached to the boardwalk and we can ride to canel park. Light breakfast with coffee and juice was included.

My husband and I got away for a relaxing weekend at this wonderful location. We had one room of a 2 room suite (another family was on the other side - theirs was a much larger room). It was perfect for the two of us with a balcony overlooking Lake Superior, a king-sized bed and hot tub. The bedding on... More

My husband and I just returned from a quick one-night getaway to Duluth and our first stay at Beacon Pointe. Everything was absolutely wonderful from the nice front desk staff to our stay in the penthouse suite - it was large, airy and clean, with a comfy bed and an incredible view. It appears that the units have been updated... More

Like many reviewers and pictures show - absolutely directly on lake with beautiful panoramic views. But what readers need to know it this is basically a condo resort where owners rent out their units. So yes - there is a lot of hotel type things - but changing rooms is probably not very easy. When booking the website provided me... More

Let's start with check-in...incredibly unfriendly lady at check in. It was the kind of "service" where they bill themselves as luxury and act snobby. I was put in a handicap room - I asked for a change, since I don't like the showers in those rooms (they tend to flood the entire room. I was flatly refused. She said it... More

Very decent prices and directly on the lake! Not a place I would bring kids to, but great for a romantic get away! Our bed was SO COMFORTABLE! The free breakfast had a nice selection. It was clean and had a relaxed feeling, we also enjoyed having underground parking.

This place is absolutely stunning!!! Best resort my husband and I have ever stayed at hands down! We booked a penthouse suite on the third floor (end unit ~301U) and the view is simply amazing. And might I add it's HUGE! They also offer bikes for use, supply ingredients to make smores by the fire, and have a book full... More

What a view we had, one day ice bergs are floating by the next day the lake is open, fun to watch. The rooms had marble counter tops, the bedding was great, and the towels super thick and nice. It's a little noisy with doors slamming - and the breakfast is just your basic breakfast. I would definitely stay here... More

This is a great place to stay for a visit to Duluth. Particularly in the winter as there is underground parking. Nice views of the lake from most rooms. The kitchen could have had more cooking things. You have to chase down housekeeping to get garbage removed and fresh towels. The Lake walk is right out your door. If you... More

For the price, it is definitely not worth it. From the moment we stepped foot into the resort, we were treated like second class citizens. The front desk was incredibly rude and gave us no guidance on anything, such as pool hours, breakfast, underground parking. We had a room facing the street. No 'spectacular views'. Issues consistently arose, and no... More

Dear Bholmen, I am so sorry for the experience you had with us recently. We certainly aim to meet and exceed all of our guests expectations and clearly we missed our target with you. We do offer pretty spectacular views from nearly all our units and we also typically have guests enjoy the service we provide. I am not sure... More
