Amazing views of Duluth Harbor and Lake Superior. Expensive in the summer season but a worthwhile stay. Spend two nights for a family reunion. Conveniently located five minutes from downtown and Canal Park. Comfortable, clean, and excellent service.

The room was great. No complaints about sound or anything! We loved the view of the lake from the bed. Woke up to a beautiful sunrise, 2 large ships and the sound of seagulls. Could not havecaskef for anything better. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and attentive to all of our needs and we seemed to have several.... More

This hotel is about a mile down from the main street area in town with all the restaurants and shopping. They offer free bike rentals which is great to take on the path down by the lake. Pro's: big rooms, nice bathrooms, lots of space, fireplace, good view and balcony, decent indoor pool. Cons: carpet is stained and dirty looking,... More

We stayed in a condo overlooking Lake Superior. It was beautifully furnished with a huge window to view the ships coming into the harbor. The condo was furnished with a king size bed, jacuzzi tub, deck, full sized kitchen with microwave, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator with an ice maker, and two flat screen tvs. It was located on the lake walk... A very nice resort/hotel to stay at in Duluth. Nice room and amenities. Great view of the lake and lake traffic. Very calming. Short distance to downtown. Helpful staff in every way. We were there for only one day, but would return if we came back to Duluth. Make reservations without any hesitation,

We've stayed here multiple times over the years and never have been disappointed. It's beautiful to be right on the water and is a peaceful distance from busy canal park. Always has been well kept up and clean. Love the evening bonfire and smores, dvd library and free bike rentals! Kids enjoy the pool and hot tub. Your basic breakfast... More

My wife and I have now stayed at all of the properties that Odessey Resorts offers. They have some very nice properties, and they do a good job of running them. That said, this was our first time at Beacon Pointe. We think the location is great. Less congestion, more quiet, and a nice view of the lift bridge and... More

I read some not-so-great reviews of this place, but took a chance because of the location and because I was looking for a place that had separate bedrooms since we had a group of six with adults and kids on the trip. We were impressed with the suite. It was a spectacular view, just 25 feet from Lake Superior. The... More

The resort is lovely and the rooms are upscale. We had a first floor 2 bedroom(103 A and B) and you could have touched Lake Superior it was so close! The rooms were very clean, modern and the deck was really nice. It is a 2.5 mile walk to Canal Park which is too far in the cold or rainy... More
