This place was way beyond our expectations! Hubby wanted to fish, I wanted to shop and gamble. This was close enough for me to do what I wanted and the beautiful scenery is just unbelievable. The restrooms were very well kept as was the whole resort. It is a very relaxing wonderful quiet place. We will definitely be returning only... More

We took our annual trip to lake Winni and stayed at The Pines Resort. This was our 5th year and fishing was better than ever. John the owner is a great host and knows how to put you on the fish. Our first day was great until all the people started to build camp all around us - "the locals... More

Our group has made numerous ice fishing trips to Lake Winnebigoshish. On the last five, we've stayed at The Pines. John and Doreen provide just the amount of service that we want. Seven of us spent a week fishing at the resort. The owner John, showed us the area to fish, and plowed a road out on the ice to get to the area. We limited out in perch, northern pike, and several walleye (too big to keep). I highly recommend this to anyone who likes fishing. We had an excellent fishing trip.

Well, my boyfriend and I wanted to go to Lake Winnie to go ice fishing. He has been there before, but I never had. He stayed at a different resort on the other side of the lake the last time he visited. When we made the reservation at The Pine, he requested a cabin right on the water and we... More
