We stayed at Pine Terrace last summer, renting several cabins for a family reunion. The cabins were clean and well kept, and the beach and the resort grounds were spotless. Steve and Jayne, the owners, were always available and very helpful and friendly, and they stopped by every so often to ask us if we needed anything, which was impressive.... More

My extended family has been enjoying Pine Terrace Resort for more than 40 years. We currently have 3 generations at the resort each year! I don't think the resort has ever been as well run as it is now with Steve, Jayne, and Landon. The cabins and grounds are spotless, the hosts are attentive and welcoming (awesomely) and we hope... We traveled to Pine Terrace Resort for some family fun in Minnesota. We arrived with four hyperactive kids, between ages 8 and 4. We came during peak season, and paid about $250/night for a week. What does $250/night get you? A lovely clean cabin with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a screened porch, and deck. 2 queen beds, 2 twin... More

Our family has been coming here for over 30 years, and it remains one of the most peaceful places on earth. Good fishing and very quiet. Lots of things for the family to do. And the ownership are some of the nicest people and always make sure you are comfortable. Would recommend this place to anyone.

What a great place. Beautiful property right on Star Lake. Nice, clean lake with a sandy beach. So quiet and peaceful unlike other nearby lakes. Endless fun with canoes, kayaks, paddle boat, floating raft, swimming, fishing, bonfires, on and on. Fishing boats and pontoons available to rent. Tons of wildlife, beavers, bald eagle, loons. Something for everyone. Great for families... More

We loved our week at Pine Terrace on Star Lake, and next year we'll bring our kids and grandkids. It's the only resort on a small, quiet lake...people come to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of nature. There's a lot to do...fishing, nature trails, a swimming beach and small playground, fire rings, and more. Our cabin was gorgeous...well-built, beautifully furnished,... More

Pine Terrace Resort is your family vacation resort in the heart of Minnesota's premiere vacation area - Crosslake, Minnesota. Enjoy a quiet family vacation with all of the amenities & attractions of our popular recreation area nearby. Located on secluded Star Lake, about 30 miles north of Brainerd, Minnesota. Star Lake is one of the six connected lakes known as the Ossawinamakee chain of lakes nestled just south of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes. Being the only resort on the entire lake offers an excellent opportunity to experience the lake with minimal boat traffic so you can enjoy fishing, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboat rides, Fun Bugs and the sandy beach. Use our private boat ramp if you want to launch your own boat. The entire chain offers fishing for largemouth bass, northern pike, sunfish and crappies. Star Lake is also well protected from heavy winds by its shoreline of tall pines and birch. Star Lake is 150 acres in size with a maximum depth of 84 feet. Great for fishing with children, Star Lake is a wonderful bass, northern and pan fish lake - catch bluegills right from the docks. All 13 cabins have an excellent view of the lake; ten cabins are at lake level and three overlook the lake from the terrace. Each cabin includes dock space, a charcoal grill and picnic table. Two all-season cabins include fireplace, screened porch, sun deck and two baths. Three cabins are handicap-accessible. Free wireless internet access is available at the resort office for all guests. It's the perfect place for your family reunion, fishing vacation, or just a quiet getaway with your family. Check for availability and call for a reservation today. ... more   less
