My wife and I took a brief trip to MN & ND, and stayed here the last night before heading back home via a flight from MSP...and this was the perfect choice for that last night in every way. First of all, it is a very convenient drive from the M-SP area, and especially to the airport. We obviously don't... More

This was our first stay at a B&B for my wife and I. We weren't disappointed and are now hooked on the B&B experience. We loved the house and the room and were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves. 5 stars from us.

My fiance and I stayed here for one night, as we were on a road trip from IL to WA. Tiny little town. The house is GORGEOUS, and the interior is jaw-dropping. The porch and the lawn/gardens were super cute. Our bed was incredibly comfortable (we stayed in the Casablanca room) and the bathroom was big and awesome. Complaint 1:... More

Welcoming and Friendly! Tops on my list!! So Romantic....... Small town feeling in Central MN; Room was spacious and cozy. Staff was very friendly, helpful; not too much and not too little. Breakfast was special and the room was quaint, but CLEAN! Romantic CD's included. I hope to return to that area soon, to enjoy it again. Historic town with... More

It is a historic home built in the early 1900's. Stepping inside the front door is stepping back in time. While we enjoyed our stay it is a little bit of a strange set up for a bed and breakfast being that the owners do not live on site, if fact the owners were never there. We had to "schedule"... More

My husband I and stayed at the Pillar Inn while spending family weekend at nearby St. Ben's/St. John's. The room was spacious, cozy and quiet and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. We will definitely return enthusiastically on future visits to the colleges.

We enjoyed a weekday night of R&R in their lovely Grand Suite. The suite is spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Bed sags. I didn't know it had a front balcony, which was such a nice spot to sip wine on the balmy fall evening, and have the light breakfast in the AM. I do wish they had a better/nicer selection... More

I felt right at home when I stayed at The Pillar Inn. I arrived around 10pm, earlier than I had told them, and called the owner who contacted Steve. Steve immediately came over and checked me in. I stayed in the Victorian Suite. They have transformed the closet into a bathroom and each room has it's own bathroom. They transformed... More

Pillar Inn provided a restful evening that rejuvenated my aching body and work stressed mind. Love the homey decor, whirlpool tub, big screen TV, and hot tea and cookies. So much better than hotel stay. Accommodating hostess and quiet location-even liked the church bells. Could use better lighting options for Casa Blanca and bigger water heater for wp tub. Have... We had a very good experience. We had a little trouble with our room so they move us to the large room. It was a very cold weekend so they provided us with nice space heaters to make up the difference. The breakfast was the best - Steve served us well and was available when needed. Would recommend this one... More
