My family stayed here for a weekend getaway recently. The main issue was cigarette smoke. Since they remodeled, several years back, the smoke issue has continued to get worse. We left the weekend all feeling sick from the smoke (coughing/ fatigue). In the past, we visited the casino for a while and would seek refuge from the smoke in the... More

Rooms are nice in the tower which has the newer rooms. Buffet is one of the best. Anywhere. Wonderful food. Worth the trip just for that. Machines paid well. In all was great time. Have been there several times and. Will return..

I'll start this off with the knowledge that i'm not much of a casino person. That being said, I actually enjoyed this facility. You get the basic tribal casino stuff (lots of cigarette smoke, interesting people walking around the casino, etc..) but it's at a managible size. I've been to several different tribal casinos and this one is nice because... More

Stayed one night and got a two room suite. Room was very large two beds and pull out couch in living room. Down points bathroom very tiny, furnishings need updating, and it was a long walk to casino. Casino was very smokey, but drink prices were reasonable. Spend more time in bar listening the band. urban myth was very good.... More

Reserved a poolside suite, and therefore expected a nice room that walked out to the pool. What we got instead was a dirty, stained, outdated and very disappointing room. We asked to be moved, and the second room was worse than the first. We will not be staying again--against a Super 8, the Super 8 would take the prize any... More

Definitely not what we expected for the money we paid. We had expected to have a grown up get away at the casino. We even reserved the whirlpool suite which on the website looked amazing. What we actually got was a nonsmoking room with a comforter that had a cigarette hole on it. The view out our window was of... More

I can't comment on the tower rooms. The pics they post online are all of the tower rooms. They look decent. And are obviously newer. We were put in a room in the old hotel part and it was disgusting. Stains and rips in the carpet. The tub and sinks had mold along the caulking. I was scared to walk... More

We recently stayed at this resort and we had a suite room for four adults. When you walked in, you entered a living room with a sofa bed, a sink and bathroom separated the two beds from the rest. Lots of room for the four of us but strange having to brush your teeth in front of everyone. The beds... More

There rooms are discusting, rips in curtains and sheets. Stains in bath tub. And lots of hair on a couple pillows. The deli staff is very crabby and rude, they could use a cleaner to clean up the terrible mess , there is food everywhere , floor, tables, seats and receipts thrown everywhere. . I must say the buffet has... More

If you like to gamble this is the place to go! Nice casino and hotel attached. Staff friendly and no issues with service. Rooms are clean and nice. Would stay again if in the area and it is a quick drive to duluth to visit there also.
