Went down in 2012 i believe but at the time they were doing there renovations and the service they game out during that time with reno's going on was unbelievable . Services and locations was great. I was disappointed immediately - the check in was extremely painful due to the fact that I asked if my room could be close to my daughter's room, since her infant was with her. My daughter was standing next to me and reiterated the request (we were told over the phone earlier in the day when we were traveling to... More

Dear Colleen B, I was very disappointed to learn of your impressions of the Marriott Northwest and the fact we did not meet your expectation regarding the speed of our front desk and elevators. We have 4 elevators and just 230 rooms so in most cases there is never a wait for an elevator. At peak times during check in... More

Check in was painfully slow...one guy at the desk on a Friday late afternoon who also had phone duty and had little choice but to answer it. Request the lowest floor as the elevators are also painfully slow (and small). The elevators were so bad at one point i walked down from the 7th floor. Bar closes at 11pm despite... More

We stayed on our way up to the world cup. the man who checked us in was unkempt. It was creepy, he basically walked us all the way to the elevator at 2 am, and we just wanted to be left alone. His pants hem was frayed so bad that his pants were dragging on the ground by at least... More

This is a very nice hotel. We stay here routinely when visiting family in the Minneapolis area. Many of the rooms have a separate living room area and a large jacuzzi tub. There are many banquet rooms too. My high school reunion was held at this hotel several years ago - the catered food and venue did not disappoint. The... More

We recently stayed three nights at this location. The service was impeccable from start to finish! We were upgraded upon arrival by Rebecca S. to a presidential suite. There was a slight issue with our TV powering on. Ryan Shelto went above and beyond to take care of us. He offered us a bottle of wine of our choice for... More

This was one of the worst hotel stays. It started with my reservation being cancelled "by the computer" even though I had a confirmed paid reservation. I was given a dirty room with hair in the bed. The hotel is dirty. It took two days just to rake the trash out of my room and change the sheets. Why? I... More

Dear PSB2 I would concur with the fact that the situation you describe is in horrible and should never happen in any hotel let alone one that was just named Marriott’s Hotel of the Year! I therefor wanted to immediately investigate your concerns. I did learn that you spoke with Ryan our Rooms Manager about your room and he immediately... More

A group from work stayed one night late-May at the Mpls Marriott Northwest and really enjoyed. We had an excellent conference rate and the room was well worth the money. Enjoyed the suite style room with the separate sitting room (with pull out) along with the nice bath area and then the bedroom area which was spacious. The room was... More

All you need to know is come to this oasis of hospitality and comfort! I've been to so many Marriotts but this is one of my favorites because of the staff. I was nervous the open atrium area would be noisy, but no issue with two room suite layout. Admittedly was quick stay as a way to break up a drive from Fargo, but thought the breakfast was excellent, rooms were well furnished, wifi seemed good. And one are my key things.
