We checked in to this wonderful little hide away only because nothing was available in Alexandria. BOY am I glad there was nothing available! The motel is close to 94 and close to food. The rooms are FAR above the standard of a "MOTEL" room. We enjoyed our stay and had a great night. I highly recommend this place.
Really a surprisingly great place for a great price! The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms are super clean & nice, people really friendly. Overall a very good choice.

Sure, you can stay in some soul-less chain motel in Alexandria, but if you venture 15 miles to Brandon, MN (just off Hwy. 94) you are in for a treat. The Lake Country Motel is such a nice surprise!
