This 'dump' is actually a dirty/smelly motel. It was a busy weekend in Brainerd with the National Hotrod Assoc. Drag race nationals at Brainerd International Raceway. I needed a room for one night. When other hotels are full, this not a bad plan B. It is usually available, apparently and is just fine. It won't excite you, but you get a clean, decent room at a decent price. Bed is a little firm and the ac a little loud, but you don't hear other rooms.

Even if your not staying at the newly remodeled hotel be sure to check out the Lakes Cafe located inside the Brainerd Hotel on Sixth Street.
