This is a perfect location to enjoy North Shore attractions. The pool and hot tub are very good. Our room (a queen) was small, but adequate. The TV was really, really small and old. It would have been nice to have a larger/updated one for the fall evenings. Price includes a continental Scandinavian breakfast which included herring, beets, cheese, rolls,... More

We have enjoyed Cove Point Lodge on multiple occasions including just this month in celebration of our anniversary! I grew-up going there often with my family and now enjoy going with friends and my husband. We have stayed in the lodge as well as the cottages. The lodge is absolutely beautiful with a cozy fireplace, frequent activities, and a nice... More

Starting with what we enjoyed. The staff were especially pleasant and helpful. We were very impressed. The main lobby is quite attractive. Due to cool weather, a fire was always burning in a large fireplace and we enjoyed sitting close to it. Our room was very clean. The included breakfast buffet was very basic but passable. The only warm item... More

As we walked in to check out the place and see about room availability we were greeted by Lizz. She told us about the lodge and the ammenities that came with the stay and gave us a great price for the night. We made the decision to stay the night and checked in and she introduced us to Kathy and... More

Although there was a mix up on our reservation initially, the staff did their best to make up for the mistake and we all ended up having a marvelous stay at the Cove! The cabin layout was just perfect to accommodate our group. This was the first time I stayed with a group and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. The... More

This is our third visit to Cove Point and our first staying in one of the Windsong condos. As usual, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Just pulling into the lodge lowers my blood pressure. It's a picture perfect setting. Sitting on the deck, watching the water and listening to the waves is so relaxing. It would be easy to... More

very pretty property. We always enjoy walking out on the point of land around the cove and watching the lake. All the rooms have views of Lake Superior. The food is good, not unusual except at breakfast they have pickled herring(usually) pickled beets, cheese and salami as a Scandinavian breakfast. Very nice fireplace in the main lodge dining area. We... More

We have stayed here multiple times, both in the lodge and in the condos. For just the 2 of us, we always choose the lodge and have always had terrific service. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and the staff is attentive. We like the unique breakfast and have had good meals in the dining room. All in all,... More

I would have loved to give this resort a 5-star rating, but I had to take off 1 star because the condo owner locked the clothes closets so there wan't any place to hang clothes, and I had to take off another star because the Windsong HOA had the deck stained the day we arrived and we couldn't use the... We have stayed at Cove Point lodge three times in the last 12 years. The last time was right after they built the little restaurant up the hill. The first time was in 2002. The staff is wonderful and polite 100% of the time - especially the wait staff in the upper restaurant. I am, however, disappointed in the sad... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience with us. I do want to clarify that the lodge and the restaurant on the hill (Cove Point Crossings) was opened and has been owned by the same people since the lodge opened in 1995. The owners hired Leisure Hotels and Resorts to operate the property, but... More
