What a cozy retreat! Lovely lodge set on the north shore of Lake Superior. The cove is beautiful and picture perfect. Centrally located between Tettegouche State Park, Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry State Park; close to Silver Bay and Two Harbors; we were able to fit alot in over the weekend! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Did not take advantage... More

Wonderful and warm. Exceptional service and hospitality. Beautiful accommodations and very comfortable beds. Lodge type bed and breakfast with a pool!!! Grounds and walking trails were fascinating and love the campfire by the old fish house. Food is fantastic!!! And the massage was out of this world. Thank you Cove Point!!!

Having read many positive reviews, I decided to try Cove Point Lodge. My stay took place during an extreme cold snap, therefore the resort was nearly empty. I arrived late at night and found a very friendly front desk attendant. The check in was quick and with keys in hand, I went to my room in the main lodge. Boy,... More

This place has by far the best common space. The huge fireplace with many comfy leather sofas gathered around it is the perfect place to sit and read or nap. Feels like home. We love the games available on the tables near the fireplace too. The bar and dining room are also right in the same area so all convenient... More

Just spent 2 nights at cove point lodge in a 2 bed room cottage. It was wonderful. The kitchen had everything we needed (except a blender). The beds were so comfortable. Plenty of nice extra towels. The views of Lake Superior from every room were stunning. Best thing, tho, was the staff. I misunderstood the room/bed arrangements of our cottage... More

We had a lovely three-night stay right after Christmas here at #522 - Fjord cottage. Cove Point Lodge's location is just perfect for popping over to Split Rock Lighthouse State Park for a great hike. The cottage has a great view of Lake Superior which we thoroughly enjoyed. Cottage 522's beds are super comfortable, and the bathrooms are very spacious.... More

What a glorious place to see God's creation on full display. My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful fall weekend getaway in October to Cove Point Lodge. Everything was perfect and beyond my expectations. Our accommodations were fantastic. Everything was spot on. We like having rooms to explore when we go on these getaways and our town home had two... We stayed at Cove Point Lodge during our first venture along Minnesota's north shore. Our corner room with lake view, fireplace, and jacuzzi was quite cozy and oleasant. The bathroom showed some wear, but everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The gas fireplace kicked out a lot of heat quickly so don't leave it on when going to... More

I picked Cove Point Lodge on a whim for a writers retreat. It had everything I was looking for: solitude, beautiful surroundings and inclusion. The lodge is very lovely and very Scandinavian. High vaulted ceilings, minimalist and a large hearth that always had a fire going. The rooms all face the lake which is ideal. I highly, highly recommend Cove... More

My girlfriend and I just returned from Cove Point Lodge this weekend which was a quick girl's getaway. I will preface this with saying I have stayed at Bluefin Bay in Tofte, MN dozens of times. Let's start with the good: the pathway to Cove Point was beautiful and relaxing and we also enjoyed the "Fish House" which cozy and... More
