If you MUST have air conditioning and cable TV and room service? There are other options in the area. However, you will probably pay at least twice as much. Our room was clean, cozy, and had a nice bathroom. You really do not get a lot of extra "frills," but they do clean the room. Honestly, if you're coming to... More

Stayed the weekend at Camp 61. We were up for snowmobiling and fun. They have a good restaurant and bar. Holiday gas station right next door. Also another bar within walking distance. Luca the dog is very friendly. Great access to the trails. Excellent place to stay for the price. Review by Chris (Ann's husband)

The room was nicely decorated with a north woods cabin flair. It was very clean. The bed was a little too firm to our liking. The young lady that checked us in was very welcoming and helpful. We ate at the restaurant and the food and service was great. The same girl was bartender and waitress serving several tables with... More

Stayed here while on a hunting trip to the area. Room was very clean and spacious. We had three guys staying and I thought we would get stuck with basic motel room but were pleasantly surprised when room had loft area with a bed and pull out couch thing. All three of us had plenty of room. I would definitely... More

I hate to put a bad review here, but we had a horrible experience. We reserved a room here and upon entering the room, we recognized that it did not look at all as advertised online. The room smelled musty - mildew odor. It also appeared dingy. Room was extremely small. We told the owner that the room was not... More

After a day of lots of hiking and climbing, I was disappointed that the bathroom was on one floor and the bedroom on another. Not a good option for anyone with a problem using stairs or needing to use he restroom often during the night. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable (on the firm side). No hair... More

Arriving for the weekend with our group of (8) for a biking weekend, this was semi convenient. Good news was the lounge area served us well for socializing, game playing, etc. Disappointed in room size, outdated accommodations and lack of Wifi throughout the space. Rooms were clean, but in dire need of some major upgrading. No air conditioning (even for... More

I booked 3 rooms and the guest house here for one night. We were at 12 people on 10 motorcycles. When we arrived, the man checking us in started giving us prices and I told him that the prices I was quoted at the time reservations were made were not the same. I asked him to honor the prices we... More

We were looking for an affordable place to stay along the North Shore for one night and are so glad we found Camp 61. We completely enjoyed our stay there. Our room had a loft with a queen bed and a queen bed, sofa, microwave, and refrigerator on the main floor. Our teenage daughters loved having their own private space... More

We booked a room here after viewing on the web. We arrived after 8 hours of motorcycling and wanted a cool place to "chill" down. Checked in, paid for the room, and quickly found that there is no air conditioning in the entire building!!! Went our interior entry room, and found it to be clean, cozy and comfortable, but HOT...
