Place is a dump. And I felt unsafe with all of the permanent site people. Campers were not level and junk holes. Our spot was extremely small and all dirt. Everything was run down. We stayed here thinking since it was closer to Henry Ford it would be better to stay out but we should have stayed somewhere else.

I do not recommended this campground to anyone...Went camping with family...booked 11 days...made sure I read there Policies and Rules before I booked...there Policies were totally different when I checked in...we packed our canoe who wouldn't when you are on a lake...wouldn't let us use ours had to rent theirs...they advertise a really cool slide but its only open Sat-Sun...rules... We enjoyed our stay here and although we rarely use the amenities we did enjoy walking the grounds and around the lake. We don’t come to camp but see the sites in the area. It is well kept and clean. Spaces are nice in size and grass. We were in the open but had many spaces in the trees. We... More

After reading a number of reviews, I feel the need to remind the writers that it is a KOA campground, which indicates exactly what they are paying for. Campgrounds. Dirt roads, tight spots for a camper etc...what most of these guys want is a Camping Resort, you pay a bit more but you get a much nicer park with a... More

We are two older folks who take our trips in a travel trailer. We stayed here in spot 5 for three days in the middle of the week while visiting the greenfield village and ford museum. The campground was quiet, staff helpful, clean, seemed well patrolled by security. Beautiful sunsets from our location, I was able to catch fish from... More

Hard to think anyone would give this a rating above Terrible. Dirt roads and when it rains it is a sea of mud. Big Rigs beware as it took almost a half an hour to get into the site due to tight turns and trees. The playground is marginal and the miniature golf is a joke. Half the holes have... More

Family Friendly campground! Clean. Sites are some what tight but they can accommodate for you if you ask when you make your reservation. All in all great value. Did not use shower rooms but appeared clean

we came to this campground because of the water slide for the kids. When we got here we were told it is not open, and has not been open all season. it would have been nice to know this when we nade the reservation. There is another campground in the area that has better amenities for the kids. we certinaly... More

Of all the campgrounds I have been to, this former KOA has the best nature trail. It is a good 20 minute walk around the beautiful lake, and I must have walked the dogs around at least five times in one day! (I do a lot of walking.) It was peaceful and serene. The lady that I spoke to in... More

A trip to The Henry Ford along with camping brought us and some friends to this campground. Before leaving home had researched and thought we would stay here. Later decided to check reviews and began to wonder if we were making a mistake. But not wanting to drive an hour to get to Dearborn, we decided to go ahead and... More
